NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday Night Football
DRAFTKINGS
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Chris Godwin, Baker Mayfield, Drake London
headChopper: Baker Mayfield, Drake London, Bijan Robinson
ncorfield8k: Bijan Robinson, Chris Godwin, Rachaad White
Davis Mattek: Bijan Robinson, Bucky Irving, Mike Evans
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry contests. My plan of attack is to be overweight on three players in particular — Chris Godwin, Cade Otton, and Younghoe Koo. I’ll also let the field chase points from these two defenses.
headChopper: I am playing 20 entries in 20-max, large-field GPPs. The tactic I use when playing 20-max is to find a player and lock him into every lineup. Most of the time, that’s a CPT/MVP. In this game, I’m not 100% sure who that is on DraftKings. I’m leaning toward locking in Drake London. On FanDuel, I plan on locking in Baker Mayfield.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With not many great contrarian options, I’ll lean into plus matchups and unique player combos. One thing I’m particularly interested in doing is playing Rachaad White and Bucky Irving in lineups together. Head coach Todd Bowles said this week that they need to get both running backs reps and possibly even reps on the field together. They had 10 carries each last week, and White can also add many points through the air.
Davis Mattek: Large-field tournaments seem best for this slate. I would like to alternate between Sterling Shepard and Cade Otton on Buccaneers lineups as one angle. I also think this will be one of the last times we get a chance to play a slate where Rachaad White is more expensive than Bucky Irving. I’m not sure I have it in me, but absolutely no one will WANT to click Kyle Pitts, so it might be easy in SimLabs to get overweight Pitts in tournaments.
