Well, the hot streak had to end eventually. Week 9 dropped our unit total when we went 0-3 on our selections. While the Big Ben passing total was a bit disappointing, the other two selections were not great. Looking for a rebound this week, We are going to simplify our process and try to find situations that make the most sense given the context. In our only non-Packer selection, Jared Goff draws the best fantasy matchup for quarterbacks in 2020. The Seahawks and their generous secondary come to Los Angeles for an all-important NFC West matchup. With a 54.5-point implied total at the time of this writing. online sports betting sites expect plenty of action in this game.
While many of us will sweat our Masters betting picks throughout Sunday afternoon, Jared Goff is going to throw the football — often. The Seahawks allow a 69.40% completion percentage to opposing passers while only totaling a 4.94% sack rate. While that number is improving, Goff should have time to throw against a secondary that is responsible for 2980 passing yards thus far — in 8 games. For reference, the Atlanta Falcons have allowed a second-worst 2903 passing yards — in 9 games. Yikes!
This is a big total, but with an average of over 360 passing yards allowed per game, I think Goff is headed for a 300-yard passing game. I will take the over on FanDuel.

Aaron Jones Over/Under 59.5 Rushing Yards

While Augusta will feature beautiful fall weather for the final day of the Masters, Green Bay will feature brutal weather for a matchup between the Jaguars and the Packers. Winds will be sustained at 25 MPH with potential snowfall — a likely reason why the total has dropped 5.5 points since open to 49 points.
Sustained winds have an adverse effect on a passing game while a matchup with the Jaguars has a positive effect on the running game. The Jaguars see 30.9 rushing attempts per game and yield about 138 yards per game on the ground. On the road, opposing rushing attacks total 148 yards per game. That total will likely increase given the weather circumstances.
The Packers should run the ball frequently given the weather conditions and the likelihood that they will be playing from ahead (-13.5 home favorite). Jones’ bettors can feel safe knowing that the coaching staff kept feeding the back in the second half despite blowing the 49ers out in Week 9. Jones will get his full allotment against a bad defense. I will happily take the over.

NFL Week 10 Player Props — WR Pick for Jaguars at Packers
Davante Adams Over/Under 89.5 Receiving Yards (DK)
Finally, in the same game, Davante Adams is seeing a big receiving yardage number despite the weather conditions. There is no denying Adams’ usage as his quarterback’s primary target. That said, getting the ball downfield in these conditions will be extremely tricky.
In similar weather conditions against the Vikings in Week 8, Adams converted 7 of his 12 targets for 53 receiving yards. Daily fantasy did not mind because Adams found the endzone with three of those catches. While Aaron Rodgers will target him throughout the game, I am not certain Adams will be able to get the ball downfield. Not really a burner, I am not worried about him breaking a short pass off for a huge gain.
This prop negatively correlated with the aforementioned Aaron Jones pick, which means it is likely that I will be either 0-2 or 2-2 with these Packers selections. Given the huge impact, the weather will have in this game, I don’t mind tying two picks to Mother Nature. Give me the under on Adams in an ugly affair at Lambeau.
