What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – This is a slate where locking your lineups in early would not be recommended, unless you are able to quickly pivot. We have a 5-game slate, and the 2 initial 7:00 PM ET games have a lot of news. The Flyers have a flu going around, the Devils will have new lines with Nico Hischier being out, and Vladimir Tarasenko, who had been an attractive value option, is questionable.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are preferred tonight. Philadelphia’s lineup is uncertain as of this morning, as there seems to be something going around the locker room. This raises my interest in them, as paying attention to warmups could be beneficial, particularly against New Jersey’s backup goaltender and with Nico Hischier, their best defensive forward, likely to miss. I also expect Jake Allen to be the popular goalie since the Flyers are the prototypical team for firing a bunch of shots on net but an inability to finish.
