What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs. One unique thing about this slate is that there are 5 teams coming off a back-to-back, having played last night. Back-to-backs are a real thing for a couple reasons. Yes, the team is more tired, but you also often have the regular starter the first day and the backup on the next night. Vancouver in particular benefits from being at home versus a bad defensive team on a back-to-back, and I think Columbus could be a sneaky team versus a Nashville team also on a back-to-back without star goaltender Juuse Saros in net.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. I have no doubt that they will be popular given that they are playing on home ice against the worst team in the NHL, but that won’t sway me from loading up on the Golden Knights. Mark Stone and Shea Theodore are priced very aggressively, which I am hoping will keep their ownership in check.

Hunter4ever89: I will be playing both small-field and large-field tournaments. I will look to get exposure to more power-play stacks than I usually do. I especially like the power-play stack against the Sharks, who are among the most penalized teams in the league this season.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
