Slate Overview

Note: On Saturday slates, my plan is to try to get the article out nice and early, partly for everyone else’s benefit and partly because I’ll likely have stuff going on throughout the morning and early afternoon. This means the ownership projections won’t be updated upon initial posting, but will refresh when they are updated. Also, if anything changes after morning skates, I’ll provide updates in the article and also mention in the Discord channel.

In vintage NHL fashion, last night had two games and tonight has fourteen. It’s the first monster slate of the season and has double the games of anything to date. With this many games, ownership is going to be fairly spread out, even with some really favorable spots. Luckily it appears many of the egregious pricing errors have been stomped out by DraftKings, so props to them for that. There are still a few inefficiencies, but none as bad as the first several games. There are a few injuries worth mentioning, both at the defenseman position. Zach Werenski was placed on IR, opening some value minutes for whoever takes over the power play spot. It’ll likely be either Ivan Provorov or Adam Boqvist. Check the Discord for updates throughout the day. Alex Pietrangelo is questionable for tonight for an already shorthanded Golden Knights defense core without Alec Martinez and Zach Whitecloud. If he’s out, bump up Shea Theodore a tiny bit and also Brayden McNabb and Nicolas Hague.
