NBA PrizePicks Predictions Today

Chet Holmgren – More Than 2.5 Blocks + Steals

This number is too low for the rookie Chet Holmgren who has been superb this season, especially defensively and on the glass. He’s had no trouble racking up defensive stats all season, and although the matchup is tough, Holmgren should be able to easily eclipse this total as long as he doesn’t wind up in foul trouble against Embiid. The RotoGrinders projections have Holmgren projected for 3.87 blocks + steals tonight with a 76.48% win rate in the NBA Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, the highest of any player today. He could easily surpass this mark with blocks alone, and the added benefit of having steals combined with the blocks is a sweet bonus.

Anthony Davis – Less Than 12.5 Rebounds

Anthony Davis has been on a little bit of a rebounding tear recently, but the matchup couldn’t be tougher tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not only will Davis be stuck trying to grab rebounds while boxing out Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, this one is also projected to play slowly. Davis projects for about 12 rebounds in the RotoGrinders projections tonight, but we also get the added benefit that, with a player like AD, a locker room trip could occur during the game, boosting our chances of getting less than 12.5 rebounds on PrizePicks. This prediction currently has a 66.46% win rate on the NBA Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks. This is projected to be the slowest game of the slate.

Jalen Johnson – More Than 22.5 Points + Rebounds

There have been four teams this year that I want to make sure I target from a DFS perspective whenever they’re on the slate. The Hornets, Pacers, Hawks, and Wizards have been absolute fantasy gold mines this year with the combination of fast pace and lack of defense. When two of the teams match up, it’s been an absolute chaotic sprint-fest without a lick of defense being played and some of the game totals exceeding 300 points. Tonight, the Hawks and Wizards match up, and Jalen Johnson should see plenty of opportunities to rack up stats in a fast-paced game. Jalen is always hovering right around this number regardless and should have no trouble exceeding it against a lowly Wizards team on a back-to-back.

Nic Claxton – More Than 8.5 Rebounds

Since returning from injury, Nic Claxton had been struggling to reach the 30-minute plateau for the Nets. However, in the last game against the Hawks, Claxton was all the way up to 36 minutes, totaling 11 rebounds. He should be in line for a similar role tonight against the Heat, as not only will his size be necessary against Bam Adebayo, but he’s also fresh off two full days of rest. He is currently projected for 9.64 rebounds tonight and boasts a 57.4% win rate in the NBA Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks. Even in limited minutes, Claxton could get there. However, if he pushes over 30 minutes tonight, the PrizePicks prediction for him is far too low.
