Hello Grinders. I’ll be covering for Justin today as he’s on vacation. We have a split slate today with 5 early games and then 8 games on the main slate. With this in mind, I’m going to treat each slate as its own. I may not touch on every team, pitcher or spot, but my goal is to break things down into the spots I’m most focused on. If I don’t touch on something you love then by all means go for it, but I’m just going to highlight the places and plays that really stand out to me. I’ll do my best to condense my thoughts as best as possible. Let’s dive in:

EARLY SLATE

Question 1: What Do We Do At Pitching?

I love this early slate because pitching is a hot mess. The main slate has Justin Verlander, Clayton Kershaw, Jacob deGrom, Zack Greinke and Jack Flaherty. This early slate has…options. On slates like this where pitching is ugly, I tend to go heavier on pitchers who I feel most comfortable with as opposed to spreading out my exposure. Brandon Woodruff and Mike Soroka stand out as the best options from a talent standpoint. Let’s look at each one:
