Hello Grinders. We have a 10-game main slate on tap for today with some ugly pitching options down low. At first glance nothing stands out to me as must-plays, but let’s start asking ourselves some questions and digging into this slate. Let’s dive in!

Question 1: What Site Are You Playing On?

I think even before we start diving into the pitching and hitting options, the most obvious question you have to ask yourself is what site are you playing on, and more specifically, are you playing just the main slate or an all-day slate? On a site like Yahoo where you have the afternoon games at your disposal, there are two very talented pitchers available in Walker Buehler and Brandon Woodruff. So the first question I would I ask myself is what site are you playing on because that’s going to dictate your approach at pitching.

These two pitching options have some fantastic numbers in 2019:

Walker Buehler – 27.3 K%, 3.9 BB%, 1.15 HR/9, 40.9% Hard Hits
Brandon Woodruff – 28.7 K%, 5.8 BB%, 0.86 HR/9, 36.5% Hard Hits
