Welcome to the RotoGrinders cup o’morning joe. Start your day off right here, as we sort through yesterday’s happenings and take a peek at the upcoming DFS day.

In Case You Missed It

PGA Millionaire Maker – After a long, weather-delayed sweat, DraftKings finally crowned its newest millionaire. Well sort of; we don’t actually have a new Millionaire this time. Jrazajr and Dr_Cash007 tied with 573.50 points. They will split the first and second place prizes which amount to about $550K each. Congrats to both players, as they did it with unique lineups which can be seen here. Both players had the winner (Zach Johnson) as well as Louis Oosthuizen, who finished T2. From there things got a bit crazy, as Dr_Cash had David Duval and Ollie Schniederjans while Jrazajr made more logical picks in Leishman and Streb. Either way, congrats on the score fellas.

FanDuel NFL Pricing Day – Are you getting sick of the seemingly random outcomes in MLB DFS? Hang on just a little longer Grinders, NFL season is coming. In fact, FanDuel is planning to release their Week 1 NFL prices today. Here is a small sampling provided by FanDuel Insider. While Week 1 pricing is exciting, the real reason to be excited is because NFL Preseason is nearly here. In about 23 days we will be trying to decide whether Johnny Manziel is a must-play against the Redskins’ second unit. Using Manziel means we have to fade Jimmy Garoppolo, who looks to win the starting job while Brady is suspended. Hang in there just a little longer Grinders; before too long we won’t have to be tempted by taking Joe Ross against the Mets in order to stack the game at Coors Field.

Kings Cup Update – Speaking of MLB DFS, congratulations to the remaining players in the DraftKings Kings Cup. We are now in the quarterfinals with eight players remaining. The full bracket is here along with a link to contest landing page.

Big Winners – Congratulations to last night’s notable winners. Bcalicore took down the FD Monster, johnnymozart won the Grand Slam, mattemily2524 won the Rally, ryanmax punched his ticket to the WFBC, ichabodamus won the Squeeze, and rrjesq won the Slugger. Over on DraftKings, bdenn2 won $100K in the $3 Swing For the Fences, Nycjeff won the Payoff Pitch, jennysue won the FWBC qualifier, and hencoup won the Gold Glove. On the Menu

MLB GPPs – With 15 games on the schedule tonight is another Super Tuesday. The Big Two have upsized their GPPs just a bit to accommodate demand. FanDuel is running a $150K Grand Slam and $500K Super Slugger for you high rollers. Over on DraftKings, we get another chance to win $100K as they host the $500K Sweet Spot. The contest offers a very reasonable $20 entry fee. DK is also running the rarely seen $20 FBWC qualifier.

MLB Content – Tuesdays and Fridays are always the best days for MLB advice here on RotoGrinders. JMtoWin already has his MLB Edge posted for premium subscribers, Notorious has his First Look up, CrazyGabey has the Fantasy Fix Podcast posted, and the MLB Grind Down will be available later along with the full gamut of articles, videos, and picks.

#NarrativeStreet – The content I just mentioned is great for cash games, but it’s going to be tough to win a GPP with chalk picks. You are going to need something to set yourself apart tonight. Here are some #NarrativeStreet plays that might have a little extra motivation. Pitching for Team Narrative Street is Wei-Yin Chen, who will celebrate a #BirthdayGame by dominating the Yankees tonight. Michael Cuddyer is also a pretty easy play on a #MileStoneWatch, as he needs three hits to reach 1500. Albert Pujols has been hot lately and it also wouldn’t be a shock for him to get his 550th home run tonight.

Last but not least, let’s take a quick look at tonight’s notable BvP Splits because BvP would never lie to you. Michael Bourn owns Matt Garza, as he is 10-for-19 off him but they are all singles. If you are looking for some BvP dongs, take a look at Choo, Fielder or Trout. Choo and Fielder have three dongs off Kendrick in 18 combined at-bats, while Trout is 3-for-6 with a dong off Kyle Gibson. For the rest of tonight’s BvP splits, check the Daily Batter Hub

With that I’m out of here for the day. Good luck out there Grinders! I hope FD NFL Pricing Day treats you well. Be sure to check on Tim Tebow’s price and get him in your lineup if he is cheap enough. You need winners like that in your lineup, even if he doesn’t get the start.
