Happy first of November and welcome to Tuesday’s edition of the Rise & Grind, the only place where you will find the true bliss of daily fantasy sports.

Today we will go over Game 5 of the best-of-seven series that is The DFS Showdown: NFL Edition – Team Cash vs Team GPP.

Then we will present the GrindersLive Schedule for today, loaded with experts giving you all the tools you’ll need to hit it big tonight in NBA and in NFL this week.

After that, we will announce the winner of the Rise & Grind NFL Freeroll, where the winner goes home with some RotoGrinders swag!

Finally, we will have a NEW NBA freeroll for tonight’s slate, where the winner will nab some RG playing cards. WOOT!

The DFS Showdown: NFL Edition – Team Morning Grind vs Team Chalk

Game 5 of this best-of-seven series between Team Morning Grind (Stevietpfl & TheSeigeDFS) vs Team Chalk (Dean78904 & GiantBallofOil) was completely opposite of what we are used to seeing from these two squads. It was an actual close matchup; in fact, it was a nail-biter right down to the cuticles.

Let’s first go over who they started at the quarterback position. Team MG started Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons, who went for three passing touchdowns along with 288 passing yards for a total of 24.42 DK points. Team Chalk rolled out Andrew Luck, who threw for two passing touchdowns off of 210 yards, ending with 20.4 DK points.

Moving on from there, Team MG went with Jeff Janis at wide receiver, a super-contrarian play which actually worked out because Janis ended up in the end zone for the Packers, which gave Team MG a big boost.

Team Cash ran out Devonta Freeman, who exploded for a pair of touchdowns, one on the ground, the other through the air.

Both teams were struck with injuries, Spencer Ware, one of the biggest busts of the week, had an unfortunate collision, causing him to have a concussion, which ended his game really early in the second quarter. Team Chalk also played Tyrell Williams, who hurt his foot early on, ending his day early as well, leaving him with a disappointing 1.4 DraftKings points.

And we have a winner Team Morning Grind for winning the series in dominating fashion, 4-1.

Final Score Team MG – 105.12 – Team Cash – 103.90
