The NFL Field Report: Week 11
The Field Report is designed to give you a look into the most popular plays from FanDuel’s Thursday Night action.
In order to truly separate your entry from the rest of the field, you need to create a very unique roster. In GPPs especially, playing along with the rest of your opponents won’t get you very far. The rules are much different in H2Hs and 50/50s, but in tournaments where you need to beat ALL of your opponents (e.g. major qualifiers), you need to take risks and use a player or two that you know will be lightly owned.

The percentages in the tables below come from the FanDuel $1 Dive, which has 4,705 entries. The listed players are ones that I have identified for a variety of reasons, but if you don’t see “your guy” here, post below in the comments and I will do my best to get you a percentage.

To be honest, Carr surprises me here. Not because he is the top selection, but because of the gap between he and Newton/Brady. Seeing Brady below 10% puts him in play for GPP this week, considering all he did was throw for 466 yards and 3 TDs against the Bills earlier this season.
If you are looking for a lower owned player that could lead you to all the glory, then Aaron Rodgers has to be a strong consideration. Both Rodgers and his receivers are under-owned in my opinion, and they possess too much potential to ignore.

The chalk here is as I expected it to be with West and Freeman leading the way with huge percentages. While I don’t think either of these guys are a must play, each of them have a high probability to produce solid numbers this week.
Jeremy Langford is a guy I was high on last week, and to my surprise was a contrarian play. I played him in cash, and that is not to brag, because he exceeded my expectations. The reason I bring him up is that if his name was Matt Forte at his price, you would be all over him. The Bears are using him in a very similar fashion and Langford has shown the ability to get to the edge rushing and catches the ball very well. You know, kinda like Matt Forte. Long story short, I think he is under-owned again at this price point.

No surprise here with Amendola leading the way and Jones as the second highest percentage just behind him. This was completely predictable going in and we probably could have named the top five guys without this article.
What did surprise me is that Davante Adams, with all the targets last week, still only had a 4% ownership. He is not alone, as there are some big time names that join him below 5% in Green, Hopkins, Marshall, and Jeffery. All are excellent against the grain options in a GPP, but be sure to check on Marshall, as he is dealing with some injuries but should be able to play.

Two things stood out to me at tight end this week. First, I expected Gronk to get a huge boost up and be the number one guy with Edelman gone for the season. Second, it was very surprising to see Antonio Gates below 5% here coming out of the bye week, as he will likely be a target monster.
