Finding Paydirt: Week 4 NFL Touchdown Picks — Win 2 Months of RG Premium & More Prizes!

Touchdowns, while extremely variant, make or break daily fantasy success and swing thousands of dollars every Sunday. Every weekend, players wait anxiously for the players on their roster to find paydirt. The purpose of the contest is to provide an opportunity for the RotoGrinders community to come together to sweat our touchdown picks together. Did I mention there will be prizes?

Happy Friday, Grinders! The final week of our opening segment is upon us. With plenty of elite playmakers off of our main slate and on island games, we will need to do a bit of digging to find touchdowns this week. As ever, we will open with a check at the leaderboard before making our Week 4 touchdown selections.

The Leaderboard

The leaderboard saw a bit of action courtesy of Antonio Gibson and Dallas Goedert. A.J. Brown added a touchdown but like many other competent receivers, will find himself on the cut list this week. The final week of our first four-week segment is upon us with a three-way tie atop for RotoGrinders prizes. Make your picks. Share with friends. Given the low numbers thus far with touchdowns, one big week could do the trick.

Finding Paydirt Rules and Prizes

Very simple. Each week, I will publish Finding Paydirt on Friday morning — highlighting my favorite touchdown pick for the running back, wide receiver, and tight end position. To participate in the contest, you simply need to read the article and leave your three picks in the comments section. So, easy, right? You will take Jonathan Taylor, Davante Adams, and Travis Kelce! Easy!

Not so fast, friends! There is a catch. Each week, we will run the contest for Sunday’s DraftKings Main Slate (1:00 PM and 4:00 PM games). However, to make things a bit more interesting, I will be cutting the top five priced running backs and wide receivers as well as the top three priced tight ends. Everyone else on the slate is in play.

Each week I will post an updated leaderboard with the total touchdowns accumulated that week and for the season.

So, simply put, read the article, check the cut list, make your three picks in the comments, win prizes! What are the prizes? Read below.

The following prizes will be awarded to players based on their touchdown total for each four-week segment:

First Place – 2 months of RotoGrinders NFL Premium
Second Place – RotoGrinders T-shirt and hat
Third Place – 2 weeks of SAO Premium

The following prizes will be awarded to players based on their touchdown total for the first 16 weeks of the NFL season:

First Place – One month of RotoGrinders Combo Premium
Second Place – RotoGrinders Swag Pack
Third Place – One month of SAO Premium

Now, let’s get into this week’s cut list.

The Week 4 Cut List

Your selections must be on the DraftKings Main Slate and cannot be any of the players below. These players are the top five at both RB and WR and the top three at TE.

Running Back Wide Receiver Tight End
Jonathan Taylor Davante Adams Mark Andrews
Derrick Henry Stefon Diggs Darren Waller
Christian McCaffrey A.J. Brown Kyle Pitts
Saquon Barkley Amon-Ra St. Brown
Nick Chubb “(player-popup #michael-pittman)Michael Pittman Jr

Now that we have cut the top-priced players, let’s make our Week 4 picks.

NFL Week 4 Touchdown Picks

Jamaal Williams – RB – $6,100

Per Notorious and his tag on LineupHQ, Jamaal Williams leads the NFL in running back touchdowns (4) and carries inside the ten (10). This all happened with a full complement of playmaking teammates.

D’Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown did not practice Thursday. If either or both cannot go on Sunday, Williams will have even less competition for work. He will subsequently be one of the, if not the highest, owned player on DraftKings.

I don’t care. I just want touchdowns. At the time of this writing, likely due to the injury report, we don’t have a price for a Williams touchdown.

Christian Kirk – WR – $6,600

Christian Kirk has been everything the Jacksonville Jaguars hoped for when signing him to a big contract. Moved all over the formation, Kirk is putting together some of the most impressive receiving numbers thus far in the 2022 season. While a matchup with the Philly defense is not great on paper, the Jaguars might need to play catch-up if the Eagles continue their dominant ways.

Kirk has 27 targets in three games with 7 of those targets occurring in the red zone. His three touchdowns are just what the doctor ordered for this contest. Given how thin wide receiver is this week because of all of the primetime games, Kirk could very well be one of the better bets to hit paydirt this week.

Christian Kirks comes with a +210 price on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Dallas Goedert – TE – $4,500

Same game, opposite side. Dallas Goedert feels as good a bet as anyone left on this tight end board to score a touchdown. Projected for 26 points on our Starting Lineups page, the Eagles should score points on Sunday.

Philly features plenty of options, though. Given the several mouths to feed in the run game including the quarterback, as well as the other receiving options, Goedert might find it difficult to amass a ton of opportunities. Still, despite all of the weapons, Goedert has at least 4 targets in every game. The quality of those targets is far greater than those of other tight ends on this list.

Grab the +220 for Dallas Goedert to score a touchdown on FanDuel Sportsbook as a start to a same game parlay.

Thanks for checking out this week’s article. Leave your touchdown picks in the comments for a chance at winning monthly and seasonal prizes.
