What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – STL -153
Pitcher Grind Down
NYM – Dillon Gee has looked great in his last two starts only giving up 2 earned runs over 14 innings while striking out 19 batters. The only problem is that he has to face the Cardinals offense tonight. They have been on fire of late and I trust their bats more than I trust Gee’s arm. Avoid
STL – Shelby Miller hasn’t been as good on the road as he has been at home, but I love the matchup for him today against the Mets in their pitcher’s park. Miller threw 5 scoreless innings the first time he saw the Mets and I expect him to top that tonight. Target
Batter Grind Down
NYM – Shelby Miller is a stud and the Mets have been awful offensively at home this season. Steer clear.
STL – The Cards just keep producing these huge games and at this point, I don’t expect it to stop. David Freese has been hot, Matt Carpenter seems to have a multi-hit game every night, and Allen Craig is starting to hit HR’s. All are in play.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – MIA -101
Pitcher Grind Down
MIA – Kevin Slowey started out the season hot, but he has cooled off like we all expected him to. He did have a great outing in his last start, but before that he was getting knocked around. Vegas has this as a pick ‘em game, but I just don’t see it, I think the Brewers win this one. Avoid
MIL – Alfredo Figaro is a great value play today. He looked pretty decent against the Phillies and now gets to face the Marlins who let Wily Peralta get a win against them. I don’t think that he is going to give you more than 6 innings, but I think he could be in line for a win. In Play
Batter Grind Down
MIA – The Marlins have their two big bats now so I expect them to start playing a little better. Logan Morrison aka LoMo has already had two multi hit games since coming back from injury and I like the play tonight if he is in the lineup. I would stay away from Stanton until he starts heating up though.
MIL – I don’t trust Kevin Slowey one bit so I will be targeting a few Brewers tonight. Norichika Aoki has been lights out lately even though his hit streak came to an end last night. I expect him to start a new one tonight. I also like both Jean Segura and Carlos Gomez.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.0
- Favored Team – RB -115
Pitcher Grind Down
TB – I think the real Chris Archer is somewhere in between the one that only last 4 innings against the Indians and the one that pitched 7 strong innings against the Orioles. Vegas doesn’t trust him yet and this is a really high over/under for a game at Tropicana Field. I don’t like the matchup so I am going to avoid him tonight. Avoid
BOS – Alfredo Aceves is a relief pitcher and that is what he should remain. I don’t trust him as a starter and I fully expect the Rays to have another big night offensively. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
TB – Gotta love the bats for both teams in this one. Desmond Jennings came up big last night with 2 HR’s. I like him tonight again against Aceves. I also think the hot Ben Zobrist makes a great play as does the always producing 3B Evan Longoria.
BOS – Look for Jacoby Ellsbury to get a couple of hits, a couple of steals, and a couple of runs. I am big on Ellsbury tonight and the fact that he has been stealing so many bases is just an added bonus. Dustin Pedroia has also been on fire, so take him as well if you can afford him.

CLE vs R | CLE BvP | TEX vs R | TEX BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 10.0
- Favored Team – TEX -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Should be a lot of high scoring games tonight and this one shouldn’t disappoint. Whenever you see a double digit over/under, it’s safe to say that your best bet is to avoid both of the starting pitchers. That means stay away from Tepesch and Ubaldo.
Batter Grind Down
TEX – The Rangers have not been scoring many runs of late, but I think they snap out of it tonight against Ubaldo. While I am cheering for Ubaldo to get back to his dominant days, I just don’t see it happening tonight. Elvis Andrus, Lance Berkman, David Murphy, and Adrian Beltre are all really good against righties at home.
CLE – The Indians bats are really cheap on a few different sites thanks to their recent slump, so you could possibly mini stack them for really cheap. I think all of their bats are in play so really it’s just about which one provides you the most value.

TOR vs L | TOR BvP | CHW vs R | CHW BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – CWS -171
Pitcher Grind Down
CWS – You can’t touch Chris Sale at home where he has posted a 2.13 ERA and a 0.820 WHIP. Not to mention his 8 K’s per 9 innings K rate. While the Jays have a pretty solid offense, I am all about Sale today. Current Jays batters are only a combined 7/33 against him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shut them out tonight. Target
TOR – I’m not a big fan of taking big underdog pitchers, especially when they are named Esmil Rogers. Rogers hasn’t made it past 4 innings in any of his past 5 starts which means he’s not even eligible to pick up the win. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
CWS – Adam Dunn has put together a nice little run and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him bomb another one tonight. One of the rare times that I am actually targeting Dunn. I also like Alex Rios, he has been swinging a hot bat.
TOR – Just pretend like they aren’t available.
