What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – BOS -220
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Brett Oberholtzer looked great in his first start versus BAL holding them to 0 ER in 7 IP while striking out 6. He gets another tough challenge in BOS today. As good as his last start was those numbers are probably his ceiling as he only threw 87 pitches and I cannot see him throwing more than that today. Plus, I do not think he will hold the league’s number 1 and number 3 offense scoreless in back to back starts. BOS is batting .262 on the road, .251 versus left-handers, and .273 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away We all know to play pitchers when they face HOU because of their high K rate. John Lackey is just the next in line and no reason to jump off the train now. HOU is batting .229 at home, .231 versus right-handers, and .236 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home Jason Castro is about the only recommendable Astro. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Jacoby Ellsbury, Shane Victorino, Stephen Drew, Jarrod Saltalamachia and Dustin Pedroia have all been hot for BOS. Igelasas, Pedroia, and Victorino are all batting over .300 versus left-handers RG Stack Rating 8

TEX vs R | TEX BvP | LAA vs L | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TEX -107
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jerome Williams just faced-off versus Perez and both of them threw a gem. That start was in TEX. This one will be in LAA which is a much more friendly park for pitchers. Still, I do not think Williams can shut the Rangers down to starts in a row and he gets way too few Ks for my liking. TEX is batting .260 on the road, .251 versus right-handers, and .276 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Martin Perez is night and day different at home and on the road. His road ERA is a hefty 6.00. Either way, He is allowing opponents a .278 BAA and has a 1.41 WHIP on the year. LAA is a reverse split team but I think they get to this left-hander today. LAA is batting .280 at home, .241 versus left-handers, and .285 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Mike Trout is batting .336 versus left-handers and he crushes the ball at home. I think everyone is playable however. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away TEX owns a .301 BAA versus Williams. Adrian Beltre is 9-21 with 1 HR versus him. RG Stack Rating 6

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | SEA vs R | SEA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SEA -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Hisashi Iwakuma is as good as anybody at home. He is having a heck of a season in general and he has held this TOR team to a .167 BAA against him. TOR is batting .240 on the road, .253 versus right-handers, and .244 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 10
- Away R.A. Dickey normally pitches much better outside of TOR. He has been awful this month but he has GPP winning upside and should benefit from this park. SEA has been a very productive offense as of late but they also K at a high rate so that makes Dickey a high risk/high reward play. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse have positive BvPs versus Dickey. Saunders, Smoak, Seager, and Morales have been hot for SEA. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Edwin Encarnacion is 3-8 with 1 HR versus Iwakuma if you are playing the fade. He has been hot over the last 7 days as well. RG Stack Rating 2

MIL vs R | MIL BvP | SFG vs R | SFG BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – SFO -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Vegas really believes in Chad Guadin. After 9 starts, the young pitcher has posted a very 2.64 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. His numbers are ace status at home with a 1.96 ERA and .209 BAA. The only problem I have with him is that he has yet to throw over a 100 pitches so his upside is capped. If he is still cheap on your site, though, then he is worth a look. MIL is batting .250 on the road, .251 versus right-handers, and .225 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away In his first start, Tyler Thornburg threw 93 pitches so everything. He will probably throw around 90 today as well so everything I just said about Gaudin’s upside being capped apply it to him as well. The difference between the 2 pitchers is that Thornburg will still be super cheap on most site and is worth a serious look in multiple pitcher formats. He carries more risk since this will only be his second start. SFO is batting .263 at home, .265 versus right-handers, and .258 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Brett Pill, Roger Kieschnick, and Buster Posey are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. Thornburg could pitch very poorly so consider everyone worth a look. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Caleb Gindl, Jean Segura, and Carlos Gomez are hitting right-handers for a high average. Yuniesky Betancourt is 7-22 with 1 HR versus Gaudin. RG Stack Rating 3
