- Home Tommy Milone has been reliable at home with a 3.38 ERA but his two starts versus LAA did not go well on the year. He has a 6.00 ERA versus them on the season. Vegas has faith in him and he did record 15 Ks in 12 IP versus these Angels this year if you are looking for a cheaper player with upside. LAA is batting .276 on the road, .241 versus left-handers, and .256 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Garrett Richards is a long reliever making a spot start so a pitch count as low as 60 pitches could be in effect. There is no need to even think about using him. OAK is batting .238 at home, .245 versus right-handers, and .219 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home This is a tough game to call because OAK gets production from the entire LU and you cannot be sure who these guys will be batting against since this will be a reliever game. Most of these players will get 2 AB versus Richards so the BvPs do not matter that much. That being said I think anyone from OAK is playable. I especially like Josh Reddick because he is cheap and seems to be finding his stroke. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, and Mark Trumbo have all been producing for LAA. Mike Trout and Howie Kendrick are both batting around .300 versus right-handers. LAA as a team has a .330 BAA versus Milone so everyone has positive numbers. Albert Pujols 7-14 line with 6 XBH stands out the most. RG Stack Rating 6

Feldman gets the nod today but it is hard to have any faith in him today versus the league’s number 1 offense even with limited options going on the night side of things. BOS is batting .261 on the road, .285 versus right-handers, and .216 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Ryan Dempster has proven to me that he can be effective in the AL. In his 2 starts versus BAL this year he has held them to 3 ER in 12.1 IP with 11 Ks and a .170 BAA. BAL is a tough opponent and they can be very deadly at home. BAL is batting .263 at home, .277 versus right-handers, and .288 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 5

- Home Adam Jones and Manny Machado have the best numbers versus Dempster. Adam Jones, Matt Wieters, and J.J. Hardy have all ben hot for BAL. Dempster is allowing right-handers a higher average than left-handers at .284 so I think these players are your best options today. Chris Davis at home is hard to pass up, though. RG Stack Rating 5

- Home You are going to find this a little hard to believe but I actually think Justin Masterson is a much better play than Yu Darvish today. Masterson has been very good at home with a 2.91 ERA and .223 BAA. His K/9 takes a jump also and he has only surrendered 2 HRs in CLE. Plus, he is holding right-hand hitters to a .178 BAA and TEX’s right-handers are the only bats producing for them at the moment. TEX is batting .256 on the road, .263 versus right-handers, and .266 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Okay, Yu Darvish is the play that has the most upside out of the two. CLE has recorded the 8th most Ks on the year and Darvish is the crème de la crème of pitchers in that category. His road ERA is better than Masterson home ERA at 2.83 with a .173 BAA and this will be the first time many of these players face him. So why do I like Masterson better? He is cheaper and I think less people will be along for the ride. CLE is batting .256 at home, .254 versus right-handers, and .266 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9

Plus, he will get more than enough Ks to offset the few runs the Phillies post against him. PHI is batting .259 on the road, .260 versus right-handers and .234 over the last 7 days. - Away Charlie Morton has run into a little HR trouble. He has given up 5 HRs in his last 3 starts. He is inducing a high percentage of groundball outs, though so I think some of that is due to bad luck. He gets enough Ks to make him playable and has a nice matchup versus MIA.
