What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SDG -115
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jacob Turner has been great early on and now that MIA is actually producing runs might be worth a look versus this we SDG team. I know SDG just put up 9 runs yesterday but that is not the norm for them. SDG is batting .241 at home, .247 versus right-handers, and .250 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Eric Stults has recorded a quality start in his last 6 outings and catches a MIA team that has been better of late but is still the leagues lowest scoring offense. MIA is batting .234 at home, .218 versus left-handers, and .263 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Marcell Ozuna is batting .353 versus left-handers. Giancario Stanton has reignited this offense and has been very good versus left-handers in the past.
- Away There is no one hot and the OU is low so I think Ill take a pass. When all else falls traditional splits are a good thing to fall back on if you think the Padres get to Turner today.

CIN vs R | CIN BvP | TEX vs R | TEX BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – TEX -112
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home The wheels have come off of the Nick Tepesch ‘s bandwagon. He was cheap and producing for a short time but he has now not made it more than 100 piches thrown in his last 10 starts. Add to that factor an increasingly high ERA and substandard K/9 ratio and we have an unplayable pitcher. CIN is batting .241 on the road, .247 versus right-handers and .211 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Mike Leake has 7 quality starts in his last 8 outings. He is not an overly high K guy but he is inducing the ground ball out at a very high rate. TEX is slumping as of late. They are batting .272 at home, .265 versus right-handers, and .252 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home If TEX wins this game it will be 5-3. There bats are cold and overpriced so I will avoid them to thing change.
- Away Tepesch is slowly falling apart so consider everyone playable. I love the left-handed bats today. Jay Bruce has been hot over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 6

MIL vs L | MIL BvP | PIT vs R | PIT BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PIT -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home It is funny to me that in daily fantasy two players can have similar stats and 1 will be priced way higher than the other one. With a 2.30 ERA and 10.04 Francisco Liriano has been a top 5 pitcher in baseball on the year. He has the best numbers out of anyone going tonight but his price tag is still lower than it probably should be. MIL is batting .253 on the road, .257 versus right-handers, and .284 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away I going to give my canned “long reliever making a spot start” speech for Donovan Hand. He’ll be limited to 80 pitches and will only pitch 5 IP even if he does pitch well so there is no upside in the play. Plus, he is a hugh underdog. PIT is batting .248 at home, .231 versus left-handers, and .294 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Abilty 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home Starling Marte, Neil Walker, Pedro Alvarez and Andrew McCuthcen have all been hot for PIT. I think this is a good spot to play all of PIT. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Carlos Gomez is 5-11 with 2 HRs versus Liriano. Rickie Weeks has been super hot with 24.75 fp over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2

DET vs R | DET BvP | TBR vs R | TBR BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – DET -138
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Chris Archer is simply not making it deep into games. He is pitching okay but his upside is capped by the fact that he only makes it around 5 IP a start. It would be hard to recommend him anyway versus this very stout DET team . DET is batting .260 on the road, .280 versus right-handers, and .293 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Justin Verlander has not been good this year and I do not think that he is worth his price given his production. He has GPP winning upside so he is always playable. TAM is batting .264 at home, .242 versus left-handers, and .227 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Evan Longoria, Desmond Jennings and Matt Joyce have positive BvPs versus Verlander. Verlander has not been the same pitcher and TAM is great at home so consider everyone playable if you want to play against the grain.
- Away Archer gives up his fair share of baserunners and he will be gone half way thorugh the game. Consider everyone playable despite the low OU. RG Stack-Ability 6

CHC vs R | CHC BvP | SEA vs R | SEA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – Pick’em
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Aaron Harang as been decent at home and the Cubs are a pretty bad road team. I cannot bring myself to play him even if his K/9 is 8.64 at home. The OU is low but I will be putting my money behind Jeff Samardzija today. CHC is batting .225 on the road, .244 versus right-handers, and .278 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Jeff Samardzija is my play of the day at pitcher. I do not usually do this. I try to stay slightly impartial but I am going to go ahead and tell you I will be using this man tonight. Why? Sea is the best draw for opposing pitchers in baseball and even if they are worse on the road, that is okay because SEA is worse at home as well. SEA is batting .245 at home, .240 versus right-handers, and .240 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
Batter Grind Down
- Home Raul Ibanez has been super hot with 35 fp over the last week.
- Away Ryan Sweeney, Anthony Rizzo, and Nate Schierholtz have all been hot and hit very well versus right-handers.

NYY vs L | NYY BvP | BAL vs R | BAL BvP
h3. What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – BAL -125
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home I would not call Zach Britton a gas can but he is given to explosions. NYY is slumping as of late which means to me that their price has drop so it should be that much easier to stack them. They have a lackluster BAA versus left-handed pitching but have a very stout .329 BAA versus him. NYY is batting .235 on the road, .237 versus left-handers, and .243 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away David Phelps is a K per inning pitcher but he is very volatile and facing the 2nd best offense in baseball. If you want to gamble then he is your man because he can be very good. I do not see it happening today, though, because BAL is stout. BAL is batting .278 on the road, .252 versus right-handers, and .233 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Britton has been pretty bad so consider everyone playable. There are a ton of cheap right handed bats in NYY. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away All of BAL is playable everyday. Chris Davis is always a solid play if you can afford him. RG Stack-Rating 5

PHI vs L | PHI BvP | LAD vs L | LAD BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 6.5
- Favored Team – PHI -113
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home I am surprised to see Hyun-Jin Ryu not listed as the favorite in this one because he has a 1.81 home ERA and LAD is a much more productive offensive team than PHI. After a hot start, Ryu Ks have decreased as of late but I think we should see them swing back towards the right direction soon. PHI is batting .259 on the road, .244 versus left-handers, .294 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Cliff Lee has been fantastic on the road this year. He has been great all around. I am going to make a call and say that he loses this game today, however, but he should pitch well. LAD is batting .257 at home, .262 versus left-handers, and .250 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Not a lot of offense to be had today but Adrian Gonzalez is 9-16 with 1 HR versus Lee. Hanely Ramirez is hot producing 27.5 fp over the last week. Puig has hit left-handers for a .500 average on the year.
- Away The best bats on the PHI are all left-handed who do not hit left-handers well which is another reason to throw Ryu. Michael Young is a righty who is hot with 21.75 fp over the last week.
