NBA Player Props – Bulls vs. Raptors, April 12, 2023

DeMar DeRozan o21.5 points (-117), FanDuel

According to props.cash, DeMar DeRozan eclipsed this market number in 45 of his 74 games played during the regular season, including 22 of 36 contests on the road. In 38 road games, DeRozan averaged 25.0 points per game on 50.2% shooting from the field and 35.8% shooting from beyond the arc. He also averaged 7.5 free throw attempts per game. The Raptors were near the league average in terms of defending without fouling across the last 30 days ahead of the play-in tournament. Expect DeRozan to be aggressive this evening and for him to force his way to the line more than a few times in this matchup. Take the over on his points prop.

Fred VanVleet o17.5 points (-115), FanDuel

During the regular season, Fred VanVleet eclipsed this market number in 37 of 69 games played, including 18 of 34 home contests, according to props.cash. Overall, VanVleet performed slightly better in the comfort of his home arena this year, averaging more points per game and posting more efficient shooting percentages in Canada compared to the United States. Down the stretch, the Chicago Bulls were vulnerable against opposing guards, allowing 20 or more points to Eric Gordon, James Bouknight, Desmond Bane, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Jrue Holiday, and Killian Hayes across the final two weeks of action. VanVleet should have every opportunity to hit the over in this spot.
