Chop’s Top-10 Quarterbacks on Draftkings This Week

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Tom Brady | $8400 | 5 | Drew Brees | $9300 | 6 | Russell Wilson | $8800 |
| | | ||||||
| 7 | Cam Newton | $7900 | 8 | Philip Rivers | $8000 | 9 | Nick Foles | $9000 |
| | | ||||||
| 10 | Matthew Stafford | $8000 | ||||||

Quarterback Quick Hits
- #1 – Peyton Manning – (SD@DEN) This secondary for SD is just awful. If you believe the Chargers offense can score a few points on Denver than it would stand to reason that Peyton could have a 5 or even 6 TD day.
- #2 – Tony Romo – (GB@DAL) GB is not that good against the pass right now and Romo is at home. Sets up for a nice game for Romo
- #3 – Matt Flynn – (GB@DAL) If AROD starts than I would have no problem putting AROD here, but the Cowboys defense is as bad as any team in the NFL right now
- #4 – Tom Brady – (NE@MIA) Losing a weapon like Gronk will hurt, but he still has enough bullets to have very good outings against teams like Miami.
- #5 – Drew Brees – (NO@STL) He’s not at home, but still in a comfortable environment on turf. He should do just fine against this defense
- #6 – Russell Wilson – (SEA@NYG) I’d love to see Harvin active, but even without him this is a spot where a little extra burden falls onto Wilson. The Giants are pretty tough against the run so they may need to pass more
- #7 – Cam Newton – (NYJ@CAR) So I guess he wasn’t quite ready for primetime just yet. But he can certainly handle this bad secondary in this one.
- #8 – Philip Rivers – (SD@DEN) He has the look of a QB that will be down early and passing all game long. Denver is vulnerable in their back end. Sounds weird, but true.
- #9 – Nick Foles – (PHI@MIN) WTF Celek? Foles price is on the rise but he is a solid option in this game.
- #10 – Matthew Stafford – (BAL@DET) OK, out of the 7 inches of snow and back into the warm confines of a dome. Stafford will be taking out a lot of frustration in this one.

Chop’s Top-10 Running Backs on Draftkings This Week
| 1 | Shane Vereen | $7500 | 2 | Eddie Lacy | $7000 | 3 | Stevan Ridley | $5000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Jamaal Charles | $8500 | 5 | LeSean McCoy | $8300 | 6 | Toby Gerhart | $5000 |
| | | ||||||
| 7 | Montee Ball | $5000 | 8 | DeMarco Murray | $7200 | 9 | Zac Stacy | $6400 |
| | | ||||||
| 10 | Alfred Morris | $5900 | ||||||
| ||||||||
Running Back Quick Hits
- #1 – Shane Vereen – (NE@MIA) He is becoming a must start in PPR formats. They are really pricing him accordingly on DK this week, but he will still catch a ton of passes and pay that off I believe.
- #2 – Eddie Lacy – (GB@DAL) I’ll be picking on the Dallas defense for the rest of the year. They are not good vs. the run or the pass. Pick the option you feel best with that week and play it.
- #3 – Stevan Ridley – (NE@MIA) He’s priced as low as any of the viable options on the board. He has 2 TD potential. He’s getting a few carries back at a time and this is a game where they are going to need a running game against a bad run defense.
- #4 – Jamaal Charles – (KC@OAK) Jamaal will be able to get yards in this one via the pass or the run. He looks back on track after a small skid
- #5 – LeSean McCoy – (PHI@MIN) Big week last week drove the price up a little but this is a good matchup. Shady should find the end zone again this week
- #6 – Toby Gerhart – (PHI@MIN) Philly is tough against the run but this is too much value to pass on.
- #7 – Montee Ball – (SD@DEN) He’s been getting a little more work as the weeks go by. He doesn’t need a full workload to make noise with his stats.
- #8 – DeMarco Murray – (GB@DAL) When healthy, which he is right now, Murray is a top option in PPR formats because of his production in the passing game. This is a solid matchup
- #9 – Zac Stacy – (NO@STL) Seems to be hitting a bit of a wall lately with all the tough matchups or dead rookie legs, but this has chance to be a solid game for him. NO is a tad susceptible to the run
- #10 – Alfred Morris – (WAS@ATL) If they would give him a full workload he could produce. The fear here is a team that has given up falling behind on the road and passing too much.

Chop’s Top-10 Wide Receivers on Draftkings This Week
| 1 | Calvin Johnson | $9400 | 2 | Keenan Allen | $7000 | 3 | Josh Gordon | $9500 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Pierre Garcon | $6000 | 5 | Demaryius Thomas | $8100 | 6 | Jordy Nelson | $6800 |
| | | ||||||
| 7 | DeSean Jackson | $6900 | 8 | Dez Bryant | $7300 | 9 | Antonio Brown | $7500 |
| | | ||||||
| 10 | Eric Decker | $6800 | ||||||
| ||||||||
Wide Receiver Quick Hits
- #1 – Calvin Johnson – (BAL@DET) Anytime this guy has a bad week, you should immediately target him the next week. Being at home is a huge factor in this one also.
- #2 – Keenan Allen – (SD@DEN) This pick has a lot to do with game flow. I think falling behind Denver is inevitable and they (SD) will be passing a ton.
- #3 – Josh Gordon – (CHI@CLE) This kid is a machine right now. I just cannot see putting in multiple lineups in the Mega Qualifier and not finding space for his potential on one of your rosters.
- #4 – Pierre Garcon – (WAS@ATL) Garcon is struggling with bad QB play right now. The matchup is a good one but he needs his QB to get going.
- #5 – Demaryius Thomas – (SD@DEN) No Welker means everyone in the Denver passing game steps up a bit
- #6 – Jordy Nelson – (GB@DAL) I know Jordy has been bad with Flynn out there, but have you seen the Cowboys secondary lately? How bout then “Boys
- #7 – DeSean Jackson – (PHI@MIN) The only thing that held DeSean back last week was 12 inches of snow. But that’s what happens when you listen to “Informer” during pre-game…Hopefully someone will get that reference. Thank you and goodnight now.
- #8 – Dez Bryant – (GB@DAL) Yardage is down but his TD’s keep coming. As long as he’s doing 1 or the other he will be fine. When he puts it all together he will be exceptional.
- #9 – Antonio Brown – (CIN@PIT) A PPR monster he is. He is a sure fire bundle of points.
- #10 – Eric Decker – (SD@DEN) As stated with Thomas, all 3 of the other pass catchers for Denver will get fed a little more with Welker out (more than likely). This includes the suddenly TD happy Decker.

Chop’s Top-5 Tight Ends on Draftkings This Week
| 1 | Jimmy Graham | $7500 | 2 | Jordan Cameron | $5100 | 3 | Julius Thomas | $5900 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Jason Witten | $5100 | 5 | Vernon Davis | $5100 | |||
| | |||||||
Tight End Quick Hits
- #1 – Jimmy Graham – (NO@STL) Well with Gronk done for the year there is no dispute as to who to spend your money at TE anymore.
- #2 – Jordan Cameron – (CHI@CLE) Finally got back into a rhythm last week. Perhaps he can carry it over against a team that usually has a hard time defending good TE’s
- #3 – Julius Thomas – (SD@DEN) No Welker equals more action for Orange Jules
- #4 – Jason Witten – (GB@DAL) I’m expecting Witten to be more active this week since I think the book is finally closing on Miles Austin.
- #5 – Vernon Davis – (SF@TB) Another TD last week and that seems to be his MO these days. Less huge games but pretty consistent.
