What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – MIN -165
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Samuel Deduno is on a 3 game winning streak . He is a 2.33 pitcher at home. His K/9 is low but he should get a boost from a HOU team that leads the league in that category. HOU is batting .242 on the road, .230 versus right-handers, and .231 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Jarred Cosart has been awesome in his first 3 starts. He has a 0.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and .191 BAA. Those numbers came against TAM, OAK and TOR. He draws a much easier opponent in MIN today. The problem with him is his 3.00 K/9 so even at his price if he does not get you the win then he does you no good. MIN is batting .256 at home, .238 versus right-handers, and .212 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home MIN is a two trick pony. Mauer and Morneau are worth a look. There is no way Cosart will maintain a below 1 ERA so I think you can play some of MIN but I am not going to guess on which exact player will get to him. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away The left-handed bats of Marc Krauss, Jason Castro, and Brett Wallace have been hot for HOU. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – WAS -134
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tom Gorzelanny is not throwing deep into games but he is making the most of IP. I never like to take players whose upside is capped and the most pitches he has thrown in a start this year is 90. His last 2 outings have been bad, anyway. WAS is batting .217 on the road, .210 versus left-handers, and .268 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away Jordan Zimmermann has been only average on the road with a 3.76 ERA. He is not a player who gets many Ks. He should get the win today but if it is not a flawless start then it will do you very little good in a GPP. MIL is tough at home and has been swinging the bat well lately. MIL is batting .261 at home, .254 versus right-handers, and .269 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Carlos Gomez is super hot again with 28.25 fp over the last 7 days. Jean Segura and Carlos Gomez are both batting over .300 versus right-handers. Rickie Weeks is 3-7 with 1 HR versus Zimmermann. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Jayson Werth and Ryan Zimmerman have positive BvPs versus Gorzelanny. Jayson Werth is batting .323 versus left-handers. Ian Desmond has been hot for WAS with 24 fp over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 5

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | LAA vs R | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – LAA -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tommy Hanson has a 5.50 ERA and .303 BAA at home. He has been getting hammered no matter where he pitches, though. He runs into a very hot TOR team that is batting .242 on the road, .253 versus right-handers, and .267 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Todd Redmond has thrown over 100 pitches in his last 2 starts. He has been awful on the road but he has maintained a 1.02 WHIP on the year. I would not start him versus this LAA team but temper your expectations for their bats. LAA is batting .277 at home, .275 versus right-handers, and .262 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Mike Trout, Josh Hamilton and Mark Trumbo have all been hot for LAA. Everyone hits right-handers for a high clip. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away As bad as Hanson is pitching at home, everyone is playable. A super hot Edwin Acarnacion with 39.5 fp over the last 7 days and Jose Reyes with his 8-21 BvP line are your best bets. RG Stack Rating 7

TEX vs L | TEX BvP | OAK vs R | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – OAK -140
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tommy Milone has been fantastic at home with a 2.97 ERA. The homerun problems of 20 in 21 starts are real and they do not disappear at home. He has 11 in 14 games in OAK. He is the favorite today but TEX’s best hitters feast on left-handed pitching. TEX is batting .252 on the road, .259 versus left-handers, and .276 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Alexi Ogando threw nearly 100 pitches in his last start. He did not make it 5 IP, though. Control was a big issue but he only gave up 1 ER and should get some help today from this park. He was off to a great start to the season before his injury and has had some success versus OAK if you want to gamble. The Ou of this game is a real low 7.5 and he should be cheap. OAK is batting .239 at home, .245 versus right-handers, and .241 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Jed Lowrie and Yoenis Cespedes have been hot for OAK. Jed Lowrie is batting .301 versus right-handers. Josh Reddick is 3-6 with 3 XBH versus Ogando if he starts. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away John Baker is batting .396 versus left-handers. Andrian Beltre, Ian Kinsler, Craig Gentry, and Nelson Cruz are all batting for a high average versus left-handers as well. Adrain Beltre is 5-12 with 2 HRs versus Milone. Elvis Andrus is 5-12 versus him also and has been hot with 23.5 fp. RG Stack Rating 5

NYY vs R | NYY BvP | SDP vs L | SDP BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – NYY -110
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Andrew Cashner has been awesome at home with a 2.50 ERA but he has run into real trouble here in July with a 6.63 ERA and gets to face a very tough opponent on the mound in CC Sabathia. NYY is batting .237 on the road, .242 versus right-handers, and .229 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away CC Sabathia is having a down year but he is still CC Sabathia. I think he benefits from the park today and SDG has been not a very tough opponent at home. SDG is batting .234 at home, .252 versus left-handers, and .239 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Everth Cabrera, Kyle Blanks and Carlos Quentin (if he plays) are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Robinson Cano and Brett Gardner are the only 2 Yankees producing with regularity. I might take a chance on a few of their bats since they have dropped in price and offer value and Cashner is running ice cold. RG Stack Rating 4
