What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – PIT -125
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home It is obvious that Edwin Jackson has had his struggles at home. However, he has maintained a great K/9 ratio in the process. Furthermore, he is inducing a high number of ground balls and has not given up many homeruns so I think that his ballooned ERA and WHIP should come back down to his career averages. PIT is not a great road team. They are batting .240 on the road, .246 versus right-handers, and .267 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Charlie Morton is another long reliever making a spot start. He has great numbers but he pitches in PIT. Do you really want to trust him today in CHC especially if the wind is blowing out? He will not pitch many innings and the Cubs are not all that bad at home. CHC is batting .256 at home, .243 versus right-handers, and .231 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home CHC as a team owns a .405 BAA versus Morton. Nate Schierholtz ‘s 5-9 line is the most outstanding. Alfonso Soriano has been hot with 24.5 fp over the past 7. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Andrew McCutchen is 7-17 with 2 HRs versus Jackson and is hot with 25.75 fp over the last week. Garrett Jones is also heating up again after a slump and offers value with the lefty/righty splits in his favor. RG Stack Rating 4

DET vs R ![]() | DET BvP ![]() | CLE vs R ![]() | CLE BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – DET -140
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Carlos Carrasco has been hammered in all but one start on the year. There is no reason to believe that he can pull it together today versus this DET team. DET is batting .260 on the road, .282 versus right-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away It is a bad idea to take pitcher coming back from injury but few pitchers have the kind of upside that Anibal Sanchez owns. He is a near lock to get the win today but CLE is a dangerous team at home so unless his price has dropped drastically then it is probably best to stay away. CLE is batting .251 at home, .256 versus right-handers, and .296 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home CLE owns a .291 BAA as a team versus Sanchez so consider everyone playable. Jason Kipnis is still super hot over the past week. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Don’t worry about the mules just load the wagon! Tori Hunter 4-8 with 2 HRs versus Carrasco are the most appealing RG Stack Rating 9

SEA vs R ![]() | SEA BvP ![]() | CIN vs R ![]() | CIN BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – CIN -215
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Mat Latos versus SEA at home where he is a 3.20 pitcher is probably the best play of the morning. He has been a fantastic pitcher in June as well and plays in front of one of the best home offenses in baseball. SEA is batting .233 on the road, .240 versus right-handers, and .276 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
- Away Jeremy Bonderman has yet to throw over 100 pitches in any of his starts. He has a very low K/9 and squares off against a very good home team. CIN is batting .256 at home, .246 versus right-handers, and .254 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Choo, Votto, Bruce…yada yada yada. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Raul Ibanez, Kendry Morales, and Kyle Seager are all hot if you are plying the fade. RG Stack Rating 1

NYM vs R ![]() | NYM BvP ![]() | MIL vs R ![]() | MIL BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – MIL -135
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Yovani Gallardo got popped in his last outing in WAS, which has offset some of the positive work he has done over the last month to lower his ERA. I think he fairs much better today against NYM. NYM is batting .248 on the road, .234 versus right-handers, and .269 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Shaun Marcum has made the wrong pitch at the wrong time all year. The fact that he has a nerve related injury is only more cause for concern for me. MIL is batting .248 on the road, .256 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Carlos Gomez and Juan Francisco have been very hot over the last 7 days. Jean Segura is still batting over .300 versus right-handed pitching. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Outside of a hot Josh Satin, I do not see any Met worth taking today. Kirk Nieuwenhuis and David Wright have also been hot but are not as great of a value. RG Stack Rating 2

LAD vs L ![]() | LAD BvP ![]() | SFG vs R ![]() | SFG BvP ![]() |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – SFO -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Madison Bumgarner had a rough may but he was back on track in June with a 3.00 ERA. His home ERA is a very nice 2.74 and he has held this LAD team to only 2 ER in 15 IP on the year. LAD is batting .266 on the road, .262 versus left-handers, and .319 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Stephen Fife has been successful so far in the MLB. In daily fantasy, he is only relevant on a multiple pitcher site because of his limited upside. His 3 starts on the road have been lackluster and he draws a tough SFO team. SFO is batting .275 at home, .257 versus right-handers, and .174 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home SFO is slumping but they should score a few runs today. Marco Scutaro is batting over .300 versus right-handed pitching RG Stack Rating 2
- Away LAD has a .186 BAA as a team versus Bumgarner so I would look for greener pastures. Hanley Ramirez is super hot with 41 fp over the last week if you are playing the fade. RG Stack Rating 2
