What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I’ll be playing one lineup in a small-field single-entry contest on DraftKings and running multiple lineups in large-field GPPs on FanDuel. In the single-entry contest, it’s going to be tough to get away from the Cardinals offense, so I’ll eat the chalk at hitter and figure out a way to get different at pitcher when we get updated pOWN% later on. In the large-field contests on FanDuel, I can be underweight on the Coors Field stacks and overweight on several other spots that pop up and look just as good.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – With many of the expensive pitching options facing pitch count concerns or drawing difficult matchups, my focus will be on my bats. I’ll be looking to save at SP with guys like Zac Gallen and/or Jacob Lopez, and only paying up for Brandon Woodruff or George Kirby if I’m happy with the lineup I’ve built and have the salary. I will not be fading the Coors Field game, but I also won’t be going all-in on that game, as there are some other teams—like the Rays, Yankees, and Giants/Braves—that have plenty of run potential tonight and could outscore the Coors Field game.

ebeimfohr: Despite a decent-sized slate, the pitching pool is rather small for me. Unfortunately, the arms in that pool are not exactly sneaky, so I’ll look to smaller-field tournaments, focused on those arms while trying to find the underowned bats, with a lot of juicy spots on the board.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
