MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, June 22
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I plan to have no exposure to two offenses that will likely get a decent amount of ownership today. The Blue Jays are just not that interesting to me until they show some semblance of upside as a team at the plate, and the Reds are a calculated fade against my favorite GPP pitcher in Nick Pivetta. I will focus my ownership on teams like the Phillies, Twins, and Orioles today.
Krayton: There isn’t a ton that I love at pitching tonight, so I will be overweight on Bailey Ober, and I don’t mind taking shots on Zach Eflin, who gets a nice price discount and good matchup against the Pirates today. I have a lot of interest in the Phillies, but I will continue to be overweight on the Orioles, who have huge upside no matter who is pitching, and their ownership might be lower going up against Ronel Blanco today.
tcsmith031: It’s not comfortable, but I’m going to be well underweight on what looks like a very popular Logan Gilbert at Miami today. I’ll be about even with the field on Zack Wheeler, while I’ll be gladly jamming in lots of Bailey Ober despite his significant ownership. Cheaper options like Jon Gray and Nick Pivetta are viable SP2s on this slate, while punting with Frankie Montas at only $6,000 on DK isn’t the worst idea in larger-field GPPs.
TJ Zwarych: Zack Wheeler and Bailey Ober will be my top two pitchers for single-entry and cash game scenarios, but in MME, I’ll look to be heavily overweight on the potentially low-owned Nick Pivetta, Jared Jones, Jose Berrios, and Jon Gray.
