MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, August 18
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: Pitching ownership is likely going to be skewed toward Framber Valdez today given his elite recent form and fantastic matchup against the White Sox. This slate doesn’t have a ton of high end pitching projections, so I will likely eat the chalk there. I like going to some likely underowned stacks today as contrarian options. My favorites as of the morning hours are the Guardians, Brewers, and Mariners.
Krayton: I will have a very small pitching pool with Framber Valdez at the top, but I will have heavy exposure to cheap pitchers such as Tyler Mahle and Bowden Francis. There are quite a few intriguing stacks, and I will be looking to get exposure to the lower-owned stacks like BAL and CIN.

tcsmith031: Pitching is rough this afternoon, so I’ll also be rolling with a small pool. Framber Valdez is very tough to avoid, while Shota Imanaga, Tyler Mahle, and Merrill Kelly will all make the cut. I’d be sure to get George Kirby into a few lineups in MME situations too.
TJ Zwarych: Despite it being a large slate, I’ll have a very small pitching pool in my 150 max build. Framber Valdez has looked like a legit ace lately, so he’ll be my priority one alongside Merrill Kelly, Tyler Mahle, Ben Lively, and Bowden Francis. Cheap pitchers will allow me to spend up for bats as much as possible.
