What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: I like this slate a little better for MME. I can get the pool narrowed to a reasonable level on both the pitching and hitting sides but not quite enough to find the 3-5 best lineups. I want to get to at least 5-6 stacks and 4-5 pitchers in primary lineups, so I’ll make enough teams to get to all of that. I’m mostly avoiding the mid-tier pitching, either going aces with cheap bats or cheap pitching darts (e.g. Nestor Cortes and even Kyle Freeland) in order to get the top high-end bats from my favorite offenses (e.g. Dodgers, Yankees, Tigers, Cubs).

headChopper: I’m playing smaller-field contests with limited entries, but I’ll still toss my lineup into the big flagship GPPs in case I hit the nuts. Looking at the board, I see two potential paths at pitcher: go with one elite arm and take a chance on my SP2, or spend up for two elite pitchers. I think the latter will make me a little different in GPPs, even in smaller fields, while sacrificing some hitting. With 12 games on the slate, I don’t think any stacks or individual hitters will get too highly owned.

stevietpfl: I will be focusing on small-field contests. This slate is great, as we have a lot of pitching options with some strong stacks. I think the ownership gets spread out enough that I can just focus on the plays I like. I’m going to be overweight on Paul Skenes, Jack Flaherty, and Carlos Rodon. I prefer some cheaper bats rather than cheaper pitchers tonight. For stacks, I’m going to be overweight on the A’s, Dodgers, and Rangers. I also like the Cubs and Tigers as stacks that are projecting for lower ownership.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. The plan is to have a Yankees stack with my main lineup. I’d love to get to Aaron Judge, but my suspicion is that his price tag might keep me from making that happen. As for pitching, ideally I will have two of Paul Skenes, Carlos Rodon, Freddy Peralta, and Jack Flaherty in all or most of my DK lineups. Cheap Cardinals, Rangers, and Royals help make this work salary-wise.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
