What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: My pool of offenses to focus on is big enough that I prefer MME tonight. Regardless of contest size, I am not going to overthink it at pitcher, playing Zack Wheeler and Chris Sale in the majority of lineups. I will get to a few pivots of Paul Skenes, Michael King, and maybe some Seth Lugo and Matthew Liberatore, but my primary strategy is a narrow pitcher pool and a wide hitter pool. Because of the way the salary cap works out, I will lean toward fully stacking cheaper teams or bottom-of-the-order bats so that I can get a few high-end one-offs around those stacks. I think the Royals will be the chalkiest of those cheaper teams, so I’ll go a little heavier on the Twins, Mariners, and Angels.

headChopper: I’m playing mostly single-entry and small-field contests but will sprinkle in the flagship GPPs. The lineup will still be built with a small-field approach in mind. It looks like there are enough strong pitching options at the top to spread out ownership tonight, so I’m not focused on getting different there. I think my edge will come from stacking less than the field—likely no full 4- or 5-man stacks. I may limit myself to a 3-man stack at most or even go with 3 mini stacks of 2 hitters each.

stevietpfl: We have a lot of great options on offense, so I’m going to focus more on 20-entry-max contests. I like the Athletics, Royals, Cubs, Twins, and Angels. These will be my main stacks I build around. I see some secondary stack upside with the Blue Jays, Orioles, and Braves. With all the potential for offense, I’m not worried about ownership on my stacks. As far as pitching is concerned, I like the low ownership potential for Matthew Liberatore and Michael King. I’ll be looking for strikeout upside. Overall, it’s a massive slate, and I wouldn’t be too concerned with ownership.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. There is a real opportunity cost at SP tonight, and I plan on grabbing two elite arms (Chris Sale, Zack Wheeler, Paul Skenes, Michael King) on DK, going no lower than Matthew Liberatore if I can’t get quite there. Since I mostly focus on smaller-field contests, I don’t expect to be too goofy with my hitters, as I’ll likely have some combination of the Braves, Tigers, Athletics, Twins, and Mariners.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
