MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 31
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
STLCardinals84: I will be underweight on the chalky Minnesota stack. For one thing, you don’t really need to go cheap with bats today given the lack of top-tier pitching. I prefer to be more overweight on expensive stacks like the Yankees and Astros. For another thing, I prefer a sneakier cheap stack like the Nationals if you are looking to take that path.
Krayton: On slates like this where I don’t see anything that stands out at pitching, I am very willing to spread things out and take a chance on some of the cheaper pitching options like Erick Fedde and Nick Martinez. One team I want to be overweight on today is the Atlanta Braves, and they are very expensive. They get a nice matchup against the left-handed Ranger Suarez, and they have been hot to start the season. Having a cheap pitching option allows me to get a stack like Atlanta paired with two of my next favorite stacks in the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees. I do like Chris Sale and Jack Flaherty and will have exposure to both. However, my preferred builds are going cheaper at pitcher and really stacking the bats. I did this yesterday utilizing Kutter Crawford and stacking the Diamondbacks and Rangers/Dodgers and it worked great. I like going to a similar strategy today.
tcsmith031: This is a fairly ugly pitching slate with a lot of question marks, so I’ll be spreading my exposures on the pitching side as much as possible. Chris Sale, Jack Flaherty, and Erick Fedde aren’t pitchers that inspire a whole lot of confidence, yet they look like three of the better options on the board. I’m unlikely to have any single pitcher in at least 40% of my lineups.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be keeping as tight of a pitching pool as possible tonight. I don’t feel confident about any of the chalky options, so I’ll look to go overweight on players like Kevin Gausman, Brady Singer, Tyler Wells and Tylor Megill.
