MLB DFS Picks: Top Stacks for Friday, July 11th

Opto% Stack

Cincinnati Reds vs. Colorado Rockies (German Marquez)

The Cincinnati Reds are a solid MLB DFS stack against German Marquez, highlighted by the best optimal stack rate, 8th-best stack rating, and 4th-best Value% in projections. With an implied run total of 5.58 runs, the Reds offer significant offensive upside.

Marquez’s historical struggles against lefties position the Reds favorably, with lefties forming the core of their stack. Elly De La Cruz emerges as a top-tier option, comparable to marquee players like Aaron Judge. Complementing him, Will Benson’s impressive 16% barrel rate further enhances the lineup’s strength against Marquez.

Building around De La Cruz and Benson, DFS players can construct lineups with flexibility to integrate other positions, completing Reds stacks accordingly.

Opto% Stack

Toronto Blue Jays at Oakland Athletics (Luis Severino)

The Toronto Blue Jays emerge as an exceptional MLB DFS stack against Luis Severino, underscored by the 6th-best optimal stack rate and an impressive implied run total of 6.17 runs. Severino’s performance issues, notably his alarmingly low 6.6% swinging strike rate—second only to Randy Vasquez—signal weakness against a powerful Blue Jays lineup.

Playing in a hitter-friendly ballpark with a subpar bullpen backing Severino further escalates the opportunity for Toronto. The disappearance of his strikeout skills and ground-ball tendencies leaves Severino vulnerable, despite his moderate success in limiting barrels, which remains questionable as a sustainable skill.

The Blue Jays, boasting a lineup with minimal strikeout susceptibility, are in a great spot. Addison Barger, George Springer, and Vladimir Guerrero stand out as priority plays. Complementing them, Alejandro Kirk and Bo Bichette add depth, forming an excellent stack.

The Blue Jays offer one of the strongest DFS stack options on this slate.
