MLB DFS Picks: Top Stacks for Thursday, June 26th
Opto% Stack
Dodgers at Austin Gomber
The Dodgers are again positioned as a top MLB DFS stack today at Coors Field, leading the slate with the best optimal stack rate, best stack rating, and the 6th-best Value% in projections. Their implied run total of 7.73 runs remains high, reflecting both their offensive firepower and the favorable hitting environment.
However, today’s matchup against lefty Austin Gomber adds a layer of complexity. While Gomber is not an intimidating pitcher, the left-on-left matchup makes it less appealing to pay premium salaries for Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman.
Instead, we may find more value targeting right-handed Dodgers bats like Teoscar Hernandez, Andy Pages, and Will Smith, who are better positioned to capitalize on Gomber’s weaknesses. If Enrique Hernandez or Miguel Rojas crack the lineup, they could provide salary relief, though with added pinch-hit risk. Ultimately, while the Dodgers’ upside remains significant, the stack is less straightforward than usual, and it may be wise to focus on select bats or mini stacks rather than forcing in the full stack at high cost.

Value% Stack
Royals vs. Shane Baz
The Royals are an excellent MLB DFS stack today against Shane Baz, ranking 2nd in optimal stack rate, 7th in stack rating, and 2nd in Value% in our projections. Their implied run total of 4.82 runs signals strong upside.
Baz remains a pitcher to target until he proves he’s back in form, and even if he were at full strength, Kansas City’s core bats would still be appealing in this matchup. Bobby Witt, Salvador Perez, and Vinnie Pasquantino anchor the stack, each offering significant power and run production potential. Maikel Garcia and Jac Caglianone are the next best options, rounding out a lineup that can be mixed and matched based on salary and roster needs.
With Baz’s recent struggles and the Royals’ combination of value, projection, and offensive depth, Kansas City stands out as one of the top DFS stacks on the slate, offering both ceiling and flexibility for lineup construction.
