Saturday’s NBA slate began earlier this afternoon with an affair between the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers. For those who had a late start to the day, there are still seven games left to get underway, beginning with a trio of contests at 7:00 p.m. ET. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, Trae Young, and other stars will all be in action, giving bettors plenty of options to consider in the player prop market.

NBA Player Props Today – Saturday, November 4

Wood Over/Under 6.5 Rebounds
In five games to begin the new campaign, Christian Wood is averaging 7.8 rebounds per game. Even more important to note is that Wood has eclipsed this market number in each of the three games in which he has played more than 15 minutes. Coming off of an overtime affair against the Clippers on Wednesday, it is likely that head coach Darvin Ham will look to reduce the workload for Anthony Davis and LeBron James if at all possible. As a result, Wood should see at least 20 minutes of action this evening, which should be enough for him to hit the over here.

Porter Over/Under 6.5 Rebounds
Entering play on Saturday, Michael Porter is averaging 8.2 rebounds per game. In the two games in which he went under this market number, he played 19 minutes against the Jazz and 25 minutes in a blowout loss to the Timberwolves. In each of his other four games played, Porter has tallied at least nine boards. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Chicago team that ranks 24th in rebound percentage to begin the new season. At plus money, this is a worthwhile risk.

Holiday More/Less Than 6.0 Assists
Jrue Holiday averaged 7.4 assists per game last season with the Bucks, which has understandably inflated his market number for assists to begin the new year. However, it is rather perplexing that the market has still not adjusted to the fact that Holiday is no longer a team’s top facilitator. Ahead of tip-off on Saturday, Holiday ranks fourth on his own team in potential assists per game. Only once in four games has Holiday recorded more than four assists this season. His low assists numbers are unlikely to change anytime soon assuming his opportunities remain incredibly low.
