NFL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Week 7 (Monday Night Football)

Rank your three favorite players for cash games, in order:

Analyst Rank 1 Rank 2 Rank 3
Notorious J.K. Dobbins Chris Godwin Ladd McConkey
SquirrelPatrol Lamar Jackson J.K. Dobbins Chris Godwin
Stevietpfl J.K. Dobbins Derrick Henry Chris Godwin
Krayton Lamar Jackson Chris Godwin J.K. Dobbins
ebeimfohr Lamar Jackson J.K. Dobbins Chris Godwin
ncorfield8k J.K. Dobbins Lamar Jackson Chris Godwin
Davis Mattek Lamar Jackson J.K. Dobbins Ladd McConkey

What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Baker Mayfield + Mike Evans – During his time with the Browns and even in his first season with the Buccaneers, I had Mayfield labeled as a low-ceiling quarterback. He’s certainly bucked that narrative this season, as he’s topped 29 fantasy points in 3 of 6 games. He’s been a touchdown machine, racking up 15 through the air and 2 on the ground. The matchup sets up extremely well for the passing game, as the Ravens have allowed the fewest rushing yards and the 2nd-most passing yards this season. The Buccaneers are also sizable underdogs at home, so we could see 40+ dropbacks from Mayfield. I like pairing him with Evans, who was taken off the injury report after leaving last week’s game with a hamstring injury. I like Chris Godwin too and will feature some double stacks, but I’ll have more Evans, as he’ll likely be the lower-owned receiver of the two.

SquirrelPatrol: Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers – The BAL/TB game should see both teams trying to pass the ball, as the Ravens have allowed the most passing yards per game in the NFL and the Buccaneers have allowed the 4th most. On the Ravens side, Flowers has dominated targets in the passing game, with 48 targets on the season and no other Raven having more than 26 targets. The Ravens are 3.5-point favorites, giving them the highest implied team total on the slate, but Flowers has just the 4th-highest WR salary on DraftKings and the 3rd-highest WR salary on FanDuel.

Stevietpfl: Baker Mayfield + Chris Godwin + Derrick Henry – I want to be underweight on the Baltimore passing attack. I’m hoping they spread the ball around enough that no one has a big game and Henry continues to dominate defenses. I think Henry and Baltimore being ahead coordinates well with Mayfield and Godwin. Godwin is averaging 85.2 receiving yards per game, which is the 6th-highest in the NFL. He has a 34.1% first-read rate, which is the 10th-highest in the NFL. Baltimore allows 298.2 passing yards per game, which is the most in the NFL. I’m going to be overweight on Tampa and underweight on the Baltimore passing attack.

Krayton: Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers – Tampa Bay is allowing the 5th-most passing yards per game to QBs at 270 yards per game. Lamar continues to be one of the best rushing QBs in the league, and he now has gone for over 40+ yards in each game this season. Zay Flowers makes a great pairing as he is garnering the most target share in the Ravens offense. We just saw Darnell Mooney have a big showing against the Bucs a couple of weeks ago after going for 2 TDs and 105 yards. On a small game slate like this, I like getting the QB that not only has huge rushing upside but also gets a great matchup against the Tampa Bay defense, who have allowed the 2nd-most fantasy points to QBs this season.

ebeimfohr: Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers – We know that Lamar has nearly unmatched fantasy upside at the QB position with his elite rushing ability, but he also has a clear alpha target to stack with Flowers. Flowers has a 28% target share, 13% higher than any other receiver on the team. He’s showing a greater ceiling this season as well. The Bucs offer both an exploitable pass defense and a formidable offense that should keep the Ravens from going into run-heavy mode.

ncorfield8k: Baker Mayfield + Chris Godwin + Sterling Shepard + Zay Flowers – While I will be underweight to Lamar + Zay stacks, Zay makes for a great bring-back in relatively low-pOWN% Buccaneers stacks. The Ravens defense has allowed the most passing yards per game in the NFL this season, and the Bucs rank 8th in passing yards per game. Still, Mayfield is projected for around 20% ownership on a 2-game slate due to a slightly inflated price tag. Shepard is expected to be around 5% owned despite 72.5% route participation in Week 6 and some positive coach speak.

Davis Mattek: Kyler Murray + Trey McBride – With the Chargers’ defense playing well and the offense controlling the pace, offensive explosions have not been part of Chargers games on either side of the ball. McBride greatly benefits from the availability of Marvin Harrison. This slate is devoid of TEs you really want to play (e.g., Will Dissly, Cade Otton, Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely), and I really like just taking a guy who can win the position by 10+ fantasy points on a small slate. And because all of the attention will be on the BAL/TB game, Murray will also likely be under-owned for a rushing QB on 2-gamer.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
