NFL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Week 15 (Saturday Slate)

What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?

Notorious: Jared Goff + Amon-Ra St. Brown – Look, I know Nick Mullens has some elite weapons to work with, and I know Jake Browning has looked great in his first two starts, but I’ll gladly take my chances with Goff at home over both of them. He has averaged 21.3 fantasy points per game at home this season, and the Lions have the highest team total on the slate. I know we have turned to a projections-based community, but I love the spot for Goff at low projected ownership. I like pairing him up with St. Brown, who runs a lot of his routes from the slot. He should be able to avoid coverage from Patrick Surtain.

squirrelpatrol: Nick Mullens + Justin Jefferson – Mullens is relatively unknown and Jefferson has injury question marks coming into Saturday’s slate, but this duo should be much more highly owned on a 3-game slate than what I’m currently seeing. Mullens has multiple games of 300+ yards passing in his career and even a game with 400+ yards, and now he gets to work with Jefferson. Jefferson’s return from injury didn’t go smoothly on Sunday, but he appears to be alright for this week, setting up lowered ownership for one of the best WRs in the game.

Krayton: Jake Browning + Ja’Marr Chase – For just a 3-game slate, there are quite a few ways to go. However, I love getting to Chase with him coming off of a week where he didn’t perform all that well, only getting 4 targets and going for 3 catches for 29 yards. The Bengals have now won back-to-back games with Browning as QB, and with the DEN/DET game projected to carry more ownership with Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chase’s upside is way too good. This Browning/Chase combination will be my favorite pairing on Saturday.

ebeimfohr: Nick Mullens + Justin Jefferson – Mullens steps into the starting QB role for the Vikings, and he’s got a healthy Jefferson alongside him. On a very weak QB slate, give me the guy with all these weapons at a super cheap price against a Bengals defense that has taken a huge step back this season. Plus, we are getting Jefferson at lower projected ownership than usual for a 3-game slate thanks to his uncertainty, and he and the talented Vikings skill players can drag Mullens to a GPP-winning score.

Stevietpfl: Jake Browning + Ja’Marr Chase + T.J. Hockenson – The Colts and Lions are projected to be the two highest-owned teams. I think the Bengals have a lot of upside, and they’re a great pivot. Chase had 3 catches on 4 targets last week, and it was the worst outing he’s had all season. I’m hoping for 10+ targets and Chase outscoring Justin Jefferson and St. Brown. I’ll have plenty of Jefferson stacks, but I think Hockenson is a great tournament pivot. On a small 3-game slate, I could see using Jefferson and Hockenson.

eys819: Jake Browning + Ja’Marr Chase + Justin Jefferson – Browning has performed admirably since stepping in for the injured Joe Burrow, with an average of 285 passing yards per start over 3 games. Chase had a down week last week but had a monster game two weeks ago, with 11 receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown. I think he can post similar numbers this week against a Vikings defense that has been stout against the run and middling against the pass. Jefferson’s return from injury did not go as planned last week, as he took a big shot after 3 early targets and was not able to return. If the field is hesitant to jump back on after getting burned last week, I will happily risk it with one of the best wide receivers in the league.

Bobby Gomes: T.J. Hockenson + Joe Mixon – The Bengals are the worst defense in the league at covering tight ends. Hockenson is coming in less owned than Sam LaPorta, despite having the better matchup. The MIN/CIN game does not project to be a track meet, with the total sitting a shade over 40. Jake Browning taking over has translated to more work in the passing game for Mixon.
