The New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons opened Week 11 of the NFL season on Thursday Night Football at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Yet, there is still plenty of action left on the NFL slate for this weekend. Let’s take a look at some matchups and our best bets for Sunday.

NFL Week 11 Best Bets and Predictions

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

Green Bay opened as a 2.5 point favorite in this matchup, but the consensus line at sportsbooks as of this writing is approaching a pick’em. If there is any concern in this contest, it is the fact that Mike Zimmer is the Head Coach of the Vikings. Zimmer and his coaching staff have repeatedly shown an unwillingness to be aggressive on fourth downs, and bettors are frequently asking themselves why Dalvin Cook does not see more touches. Minnesota scored 34 points against a strong Carolina Panthers defense in Week 6. The Vikings played the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens tough in Week 8 and Week 9. Last Sunday, the Vikings notched an extremely impressive win on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers. David Bakhtiari, Aaron Jones, and Allen Lazard are each listed as doubtful or already ruled out for this Sunday. Rashan Gary is a legitimate question mark for the Packers’ linebacker unit after logging only limited participation in practice all week. Playing at home, the Vikings have a good chance to win this football game.

Pick: Vikings +1 (-110)

Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns

The Detroit Lions are going to be without Trey Flowers, Matt Nelson, and Jared Goff on Sunday. Taylor Decker and Jamaal Williams were limited participants in practice on Friday and carry a questionable tag into the weekend. Tim Boyle has never started an NFL game as an undrafted free agent. The Cleveland Browns have activated Nick Chubb, but remain without AJ Green and Troy Hill in the secondary, and could be without both Anthony Schwartz and Donovan Peoples-Jones in the wide receiver room. Baker Mayfield, listed with foot, knee, and shoulder injuries, is going to be under center to start this game on Sunday. Jarvis Landry is still working his way back from a knee injury. Bettors can expect a low-scoring affair in this one.

Pick: Under 43 (-110)

Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans

Entering play on Sunday, the Tennessee Titans have the best record in the AFC and the Houston Texans have the worst record. However, the Titans rank only 23rd in the NFL in yards per play on offense, and rank 23rd in yards per play allowed on defense. Despite earning a victory in each of their last two games, Tennessee has been outgained 720-458 during that span. The Texans are far from an elite team, but they are better than their record indicates, now that they have Tyrod Taylor back as their starting quarterback. Tennessee is due for negative regression on the scoreboard. It could happen as soon as this weekend, when they take on a familiar division rival at home.

Pick: Texans +10 (-110)

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The magical start to the season for the Cincinnati Bengals has been quickly forgotten after consecutive bad losses to “(player-popup #mike-white)Mike White”:/players/mike-white-328578’s New York Jets and “(player-popup #baker-mayfield)Baker Mayfield”:/players/baker-mayfield-328157’s struggling Cleveland Browns. Though Cincinnati had a bye week to prepare for this matchup, it is clear that their defense is nowhere near as good as it showed early this fall. Against a capable signal caller in Derek Carr, it could be another long day for this Bengals defense on the road. The Las Vegas Raiders were embarrassed on national television against the Kansas City Chiefs. Still, that game was 17-14 in the third quarter. Las Vegas has been one of the most volatile teams in the NFL in 2021. The Raiders are far from a lock in this matchup, but those willing to bet on the good version of Carr and Josh Jacobs could be rewarded with a home victory this weekend.

Pick: Raiders +1 (-110)
