NHL Grind Down: Sunday, April 1st

The RotoGrinders NHL Grind Down article will give you an in-depth analysis into the NHL schedule. This article will break down the numbers for every single game and give you analysis on which trends you can exploit. While matchups are a major factor in daily fantasy hockey there are plenty of other factors to consider such as injuries, salaries, and more.

The analysis should point you in the right direction, but it is still up to you to decipher the information and make your own selections. Hockey is an extremely high variance sport. The best choice is not always the right choice but following the trends will win you money over time.

The Bruins have been methodically started to become the best team in the league as their record of 49-17-11 had yielded them 109 points which is now just two points the best team in the league in the Nashville Predators. I wonder what Claude Julien is thinking about now as there is no doubt that the head coach of Montreal has already started booking his tee times for later this month. Anyway the top, line of Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron should be the line to target hare as they not only lead the team in scoring, they have combined for 11 goals and 16 assists over the last eight games. This includes Bergeron’s six points that he had recorded while playing in just four of those games. Marchand is the cream of the crop here as he leads the team in both goals and assists with 34 and 50 of them respectively. The secondary lines should have a little more room this afternoon as the Flyers will be concentrating on stopping the top line so this means that the line of Ryan Donato, David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk is in play here as well on such a small NHL slate.
