Hello Grinders. We have a really interesting ten-game main slate with a bunch of aces up top. Let’s sort through some of these questions and see if we can get a clearer picture of this slate.
Question 1: What Do We Do At Pitching?
In my opinion, we have a clear top three to choose from in Chris Sale against the Astros, Hyun-Jin Ryu against the Reds and Noah Syndergaard against the Marlins. Below them is the next tier consisting of Charlie Morton versus the Yankees, Shane Bieber up against the Orioles and Jack Flaherty against the Rangers. Let’s first throw their 2019 numbers up and see how they all compare to each other. I’ll sort them by their strikeout rate:
