Week 13

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+4) 47.5

Tuttle’s Take:

So, Cody Kessler, eh? Kessler is in line to replace Blake Bortles as the Jaguars starting quarterback, which honestly doesn’t change a whole lot – the Jacksonville pass catchers are still unplayable as anything other than longshot GPP darts. The bigger news in Jacksonville is that Leonard Fournette is suspended for this game which will open up the door for Carlos Hyde to take over as the early-down back. TJ Yeldon will likely remain in his role as the third-down/pass catching back. Hyde was looking like a top value play on the slate before the Kareem Hunt news broke – now he seems easily avoidable. It is notable that Hyde will fill a role that gave Fournette 24+ carries the past two weeks. Not all that workload will be directly transferred, but Hyde still seems like a near lock for 15+ touches. There’s no reason to play Hyde instead of Spencer Ware, but lineups with both guys sure are fun (hello Mahomes, Tyreek, Kelce). Yeldon is a GPP only option.
