Week 2 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings

While things didn’t work out for Rachaad White last week on the RB side of things for fantasy football (even though the volume was there), I felt good about nailing WR Tyreek Hill as the top wide receiver of Week 1, who ended up lapping the field even ahead of Justin Jefferson. I’ve got Hill a bit lower this week against the Patriots.

Let’s dig into these fantasy football WR rankings for Week 2. Before doing so, don’t forget to use our Sleeper promo code available to new users. When you use the promo code GRINDERS, you can get a $100 Deposit Bonus.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Notes

Q: What do you call a Ja’Marr Chase who put up 39 yards and zero touchdowns Week 1? A: A good Week 2 play. Chase is an incredible wide receiver with a wildly talented quarterback at the helm. Do not overact to his Week 1 performance. The Ravens defense is not what it used to be, and the Bengals are going to make the necessary adjustments to avoid replicating their abysmal showing against the Browns.

It’s entirely possible Bill Belichick sells out to stop Tyreek Hill. Enter Jaylen Waddle. Waddle only had four catches, but they were good for 78 yards. Tua looked terrific in the season opener, and Waddle should thrive if the Patriots are able to limit Hill.

Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell had huge games Week 1 with Cooper Kupp unable to play. They face a tough test against a stout 49ers defense. Still, they are worth deploying given the massive void Kupp’s absence creates.

Good luck in Week 2!

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
