What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – MIA -118
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ricky Nolasco has been pitching well all year long. His K totals are a little on the low side but so is his price tag and he is actually the favorite in this one. SDG owns a whopping .340 BAA versus Nolasco as a team but he held them to only 4 hits and 1 ER when he faced them earlier this year. SDG is batting .256 on the road, .245 versus right-handers, and .233 over the last 7 days. They rank 14th in runs scored and have recorded the 8th most Ks. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Edinson Volquez is a the kind of pitcher that can really cause you fits as a daily player because he can go out and pitched 10 Ks in 1 start and then walk 7 batters in the next. He can be a viable matchup play if you are willing to gamble but it is a bet that is going to lose more than it wins. Many players will be targeting him today because of his matchup with MIA but the Marlins offense has been better since Stanton’s return. They have outscored TEX, CIN, SFG, and NYY in June and rank 19th overall. MIA is batting .233 at home, .237 versus right-handers, and .254 over the last 7 days. They rank 30th in runs scored and have recorded the 6th fewest Ks. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Marcell Ozuna and Logan Morrison have been hot for MIA. Morrison is currently batting .393 versus right-handers. Ed Lucas is batting .322. Lastly, Volquez has been horrible on the road so consider everyone playable. Giancario Stanton is 2-5 with 1 HR versus him.
- Away Chase Headley is 6-15 with 1 HR versus Nolasco. Will Venable is 5-16 with 2 HRs. Mark Kotsay is 8-13 with 1 HR. Pedro Ciriaco is batting over .400 versus right-handers and has been seeing playing time. RG Stack Rating 5

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – ATL -155
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Julio Teheran continues to impress. He has been a better pitcher at home on the year and has sported a K/9 of 9.00 in ATL. Since May 1st, he has recorded a quality start in 8 of his 9 outings. ARI is batting .264 on the road, .264 versus right-handers, and .271 over the last 7 days. They rank 13th in runs scored and have recorded the 10th fewest Ks. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away If they allow Randall Degado to throw over 100 pitches then he could be in line for a good game versus ATL. In his first 2 starts, he has thrown 12 IP with 10 Ks and 5 ER. ATL is batting .246 at home, .247 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. They rank 14th in runs scored and have recorded the 2nd most Ks. They are closing the gap on the Astros for the most Ks and are now only 29 Ks behind them. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home ATL has been struggling as of late and the only player producing for them recently rolled his ankle. I might sprinkle in a few of the left-handed bats like Freeman or McCann because Las Vegas expect them to score runs and win this game. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away There probably will not be many runs to go around for ARI today. Paul Goldschmidt has been hot with 27.25 fp over the past 7 days. Miguel Montero is producing and offers a cheap bat with pop and the Catcher position. Didi Gregorius and Gerardo Parra are both batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 2

CIN vs L | CIN BvP | TEX vs R | TEX BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – TEX -108
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Martin Perez just held two pretty stout offenses in check for his first 2 MLB starts. If he can make it a 3rd tonight in CIN, then he might be a player that is worth a look in the future. He is left-handed which should help him against Votto, Bruce and Choo. CIN is batting .240 on the road, .249 versus left-handers, and .210 over the last 7 days. They rank 11th in runs scored and have recorded the 9th most Ks. However, I’m still treading a cautiously until I see more. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Johnny Cueto ‘s road troubles continued on his last start in ARI. He is now a 4.57 ERA pitcher this year away from CIN. He has been great on the year, though and catches a TEX team struggling as of late to score runs. They rank 23rd in runs scored in June. TEX is batting .273 at home, .266 versus right-handers, and .255 over the last 7 days. They rank 12th in runs scored and have recorded the 4th fewest Ks. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Lance Berkman is 8-29 with 2 HRs versus Cueto. Nelson Cruz has been hot over the last 7 days with 20.75 fp. Pierzynski, Kinsler, and Martin are batting over .300 versus right-handers.
- Away Jay Bruce and Joey Votto have been hot for CIN. Both hit left-handers well. I am not sold on Perez and this will be his first start in TEX so consider all of CIN worth a look in a game with a high OU. Stack-Ability 6

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – KAN -135
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home P.J. Walters started the season well but we are starting to see the signs of what has made him a 6.06 career pitcher in the MLB. He became just the sixth player in MLB history to give up 6 ER off of 1 hit in less than 1 IP. He did so by walking 6 batters. I had a ton of success last year running stacks against this man. I am going to keep on doing it. KAN is batting .263 on the road, .250 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
- Away James Shields is my sneaky GPP play of the day. He has been a much better pitcher on the road with a 2.50 ERA and his K/9 jumps up to 8.94 and he draws a MIN team that can make an average pitcher look great. MIN is batting .265 at home, .242 versus right-handers, and .275 over the last 7 days. They rank 18th in runs scored and have recorded the 14th most Ks. RG Start-ability 8
Batter Grind Down
- Home Joe Mauer is 11-28 versus Shileds. Justin Morneau is 10-29 with 2 HRs versus him. Josh Willingham is 6-19 versus him as well. Bith Morneau and Mauer are batting over .300 versus right-handed pitching. Mauer and Oswaldo Arcia have both been hot over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away The BvPs are low but KAN is batting .326 versus Walters as a team. Alex Gordan has been swinging a nice stick lately and is cheap because of his early season slump. Salvador Perez is batting .313 versus right-handers and is 3-5 with 1 HR versus Walters. RG Stack Rating 6

CLE vs L | CLE BvP | CHW vs R | CHW BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – CHW -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home CHW has opened up and let Hector Santiago pitch in his last 3 starts and he has rewarded them (and us) with 3 great starts. He is even more desirable today since the double-header will likely lead to a few starters sitting the second game. He is a K per inning guy and CLE is struggling as of late. CLE is batting .253 at home, .260 versus left-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. They rank 9th in runs scored and have recorded the 5th most Ks. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Trevor Bauer has looked pretty good so far and he catches a CHW team that has struggled on the year. They are letting him pitch and he has performed even if his K totals are a little low. CHW is batting .229 at home, .245 versus right-handers, and .254 over the last 7 days. They rank 28th in runs scored and have recorded the 16th most Ks. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Adam Dunn has continued his hot streak with 23 fp over the past 7 days Gordan Beckham is batting .389 versus right-handers.
- Away Jason Kipnis is the hottest hitter in baseball with 43 fp over the last 7 days. He is also batting .313 versus left-handers. Drew Stubbs is batting .286 versus left-handers and is a cheap option.
