NBA Player Props, February 11, 2023
- Trae Young o2.5 rebounds
- Andrew Wiggins o16.5 points
- Bam Adebayo o20.5 points
Trae Young o2.5 rebounds (-138), FanDuel
According to props.cash, Trae Young has eclipsed this market number in 30 of 49 games played this season, including 16 of 21 games at home. Playing at home this year, Young is averaging 3.5 rebounds and 6.0 rebound chances per contest. Entering play, the San Antonio Spurs rank 21st in rebound percentage and 21st in opponent rebounds per game. This is a play that should be juiced heavier than -150. We will take a risk on a favorable line at FanDuel, in a favorable matchup against the Spurs. Trust Young to get the job done here.
Andrew Wiggins o16.5 points (-104), FanDuel
Last season, Andrew Wiggins averaged 18.3 points per 36 minutes of action with Stephen Curry off of the floor in a sample size of 901 minutes. This season, Wiggins is averaging 18.3 points per 36 minutes with Curry off of the floor in a sample size of 290 minutes, according to CourtIQ. Dating back to last year, Wiggins has eclipsed this market number in 10 of his last 17 games played with Curry off of the floor, including four of his last five games played at home. Since joining the Golden State Warriors, Wiggins has consistently performed better at home than on the road, which has held true again this season. In his home building, Wiggins is averaging 18.4 points on 51.2% shooting, compared to 15.6 points on 43.3% shooting on the road. Playing a Los Angeles Lakers team that ranks 16th in defensive efficiency since January 25, Wiggins has a great opportunity to hit the over in this spot.
Bam Adebayo o20.5 points (-115), FanDuel
Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo are both out of the lineup again on Saturday for the Miami Heat, which means we are attacking Bam Adebayo on the player prop market, even though he came up short for us yesterday. According to CourtIQ, Adebayo is averaging 25.2 points per 36 minutes of action this season with both Lowry and Oladipo on the sidelines. This evening, Adebayo gets an extremely favorable matchup against an Orlando Magic team that ranks 28th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area this season. Adebayo is averaging 15.8 field goal attempts per game this season, 5.9 of which are coming in the restricted area. Per props.cash, Orlando allowed Joel Embiid to score 28 points and 30 points in consecutive games against them two weeks ago. Nikola Vucevic, another true center, had 26 points against Orlando at the end of January. Adebayo let us down yesterday, but this is another great matchup for him and the math makes sense – take the over.
