Buccaneers vs. Lions NFL Player Props – Wild Card Round
- Baker Mayfield OVER 260.5 Passing Yards
- Rachaad White UNDER 55.5 Rushing Yards
- Mike Evans OVER 72.5 Receiving Yards
Baker Mayfield OVER 260.5 Passing Yards (-113), FanDuel
On Sunday afternoon, Baker Mayfield has an incredibly favorable matchup against a Lions pass defense that has struggled mightily this season. Geno Smith, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Nick Mullens (twice), Dak Prescott, and Matthew Stafford have each thrown for at least 300 yards against Detroit so far this year. Mayfield has certainly had his struggles away from home, with only two games of more than 250 passing yards, but not all matchups are created equal. Mayfield had 337 passing yards against the Eagles last Monday and figures to be plenty productive again in the Divisional round against a weak Lions secondary unit.
Rachaad White UNDER 55.5 Rushing Yards (-115), BetMGM
Entering play on Sunday, Rachaad White has posted at least 72 rushing yards in 6 of his last 8 games, but he is going to have a difficult time continuing that strong stretch of production against the Lions. Detroit has boasted one of the best run defenses in the entire NFL this season, and they have been especially strong of late – ranking 3rd in EPA/play and 5th in success rate against the run since their Week 9 bye. The Lions have held extremely talented running backs to underwhelming performances this season, and White is likely next in line for a frustrating day on the ground.
Mike Evans OVER 72.5 Receiving Yards (-113), FanDuel
Mike Evans had an underwhelming showing against the Eagles last Monday, but he was still targeted 7 times and likely would have racked-up more yards if not for a blowout game script. Detroit ranked 23rd in DVOA against top wide receivers during the regular season and has allowed some significant spike weeks of late – including 181 yards to Puka Nacua, 192 yards to Justin Jefferson, and 227 yards to CeeDee Lamb since Christmas alone. Evans could be in for an extremely strong afternoon against the Lions.
