Again, my rankings factor in salary so this isn’t a list of top 10 projected scorers, but is instead an estimate of value, based on player salary. Hope you enjoy and this information helps you with your research.

Quick Hits
- #1 – Drew Brees – His offensive minded coach is back. This game has the potential to be the highest scoring of the weekend. I know he seems a bit pricey, but you have to pay for quality.
- #2 – Matt Ryan – Along the same lines, this is a matchup that just seems like it will have a ton of points scored. Dome, 2 big QB’s battling and it’s the marquee game of the weekend.
- #3 – Matthew Stafford – All this team does is throw. He’s got plenty of weapons and the price is not bad.
- #4 – Carson Palmer – Cheap price for Draftstreet. His main advantage is he has Fitzgerald on his side.
- #5 – Alex Smith – Andy Reid loves to throw. Smith will get plenty of passes called and Bowe is as good as any WR he has ever had.
- #6 – Michael Vick – Cheapest “good” QB on the board
- #7 – Tony Romo – these games are always shootouts
- #8 – Tom Brady – Buff never stops him
- #9 – Cam Newton – He is matchup proof, was on a roll ending last year and this D isn’t as good out of Sea
- #10 – Sam Bradford – Has some new toys to throw to

Chop’s Top-10 Running Backs on DraftStreet This Week
| 1 | Adrian Peterson | $16151 | 2 | Doug Martin | $13958 | 3 | Steven Jackson | $11981 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Matt Forte | $11357 | 5 | Jamaal Charles | $14560 | 6 | Arian Foster | $14008 |
| | | ||||||
| 7 | C.J. Spiller | $12640 | 8 | Shane Vereen | $8245 | 9 | Stevan Ridley | $9492 |
| | | ||||||
| 10 | Daryl Richardson | $8421 | ||||||
| ||||||||
Quick Hits
- #1 – Adrian Peterson – He is the best RB in football and this matchup isn’t too bad. In fact this defense struggled at times last year and their offense always gets them in shootouts. Anytime he is on turf I like his chances.
- #2 – Doug Martin – This has the making of a huge day for Dougie. Run first team against a defense that may struggle out the gate.
- #3 – Steven Jackson – Plenty of scores to go around in this one. Yardage may be down a bit but TD total will be very good.
- #4 – Matt Forte – I was hoping for a better week1 matchup but this will have to do. He should have a nice year and this salary is a bit low for his production this week.
- #5 – Jamaal Charles – He is pricey and that’s why he is a bit lower on this list, otherwise he would be top 3. He should have a solid game against defense that struggled last year
- #6 – Arian Foster – His price is below the other big guns, but he hasn’t done anything to deserve that. If he suits up and plays than he will score 2 TD’s.
- #7 – C.J. Spiller – Decent price, nice potential. I am a little leery of NE defense, but he has to be in the top 10
- #8 – Shane Vereen – I expect big things from Vereen in the passing game as long as Gronk is out.
- #9 – Stevan Ridley – Assuming Belichick doesn’t toy with his carries (entirely possible) he should have good production
- #10 – Daryl Richardson – Announced starter for Rams. He is young and had fresh legs. Should find space in this offense

Chop’s Top-10 Wide Receivers on DraftStreet This Week
| 1 | Vincent Jackson | $10422 | 2 | Larry Fitzgerald | $11734 | 3 | Julio Jones | $12322 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | ||||||
| 4 | Calvin Johnson | $14445 | 5 | Darrius Heyward-Bey | $7125 | 6 | Alshon Jeffery | $5975 |
| | | ||||||
| 7 | Kenbrell Thompkins | $4142 | 8 | Tavon Austin | $8498 | 9 | DeSean Jackson | $9057 |
| | | ||||||
| 10 | Andre Johnson | $12609 | ||||||
| ||||||||
Quick Hits
- #1 – Vincent Jackson – No more Revis. No one on this team can guard him. Too physical and had some monster games last season.
- #2 – Larry Fitzgerald – New QB means he has big aspirations this year. Not fearful of any matchup for Fitz
- #3 – Julio Jones – Back to the well one more time for fantasy production in this game.
- #4 – Calvin Johnson – Tad lower on my list because I usually don’t like spending this much on a WR, but he is the exception.
- #5 – Darrius Heyward-Bey – Nice, cheap price for the starter opposite of Reggie Wayne. Wayne is too old and someone else will step up this year.
- #6 – Alshon Jeffery – Marshall is hurting and this price is too good. He has stud potential
- #7 – Kenbrell Thompkins – Lots of hype surrounding Kenbrell. Low price in week 1 makes him a solid value
- #8 – Tavon Austin – College Stud and #1 receiver for STL
- #9 – DeSean Jackson – cheap price, big play potential.
- #10 – Andre Johnson – Injuries are his problem, but this is week 1. He should start off hot.

- #2 – Zach Sudfeld – Value play of the weekend. A starting TE in NE’s offense at minimum price
- #3 – Tony Gonzalez – Why not take the other TE also
- #4 – Jason Witten – I remember a nearly 20 catch day last year against the Giants for Witten.
- #5 – Jermichael Finley – Jennings is gone and Jordy is banged up. Could finally live up to his hype
