• Home Someone please in the comments give me a reason to get off of Adam Wainwright tonight. I know the Braves are a deadly offensive team but their high K rate make them look oh so good for a GPP. Wainwright has been sick at home with a 2.18 ERA and .214 BAA and he plays in front of the league’s 3rd highest scoring offense. ATL is batting .243 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .226 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9

• Away Kris Medlen has been serviceable as a starter but he is matchup play and the splits favor STL today. Medlen is slightly worse on the road. STL is a much better team at home and they pound right-handed pitching. STL is batting is batting .277 at home, .283 versus right-handers, and .254 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5

• Home Yadier Molina, Carlos Beltran, Jon Jay, and Matt Carpenter have been hot for STL. Molina, Allen Craig, Shane Robinson, Carlos Beltran, Matt Carpenter, Matt Adams, Jon Jay, and Matt Holliday all hit right-handers for a high average. RG Stack Rating 6

• Away I lI like the value of Jordan Schafer in the lead-off spot. Freddie Freeman has been hot as well. Brian McCann has decent numbers against Wainwright. RG Stack Rating 3

• Home Maybe they have seen him too many times but this LAA team has been decent against Felix Hernandez. They have scored 9 runs in 21 IP with a .296 BAA. He is the huge favorite again today but when you pay for Felix you expect perfection and I am not sure he gets you there today although he has the upside to do it. LAA is batting .253 on the road, .271 versus right-handers, and .247 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8

• Away Garrett Richards is not as bad as his 4.24 ERA suggest. He has been decent since the All-Star Break with a 3.09 ERA and his numbers should get a boost from this park. It also should help him that he is facing a SEA team that has recorded the 6th most Ks on the season. SEA is batting .248 at home, .249 versus right-handers, and .220 over the last 7 days. • Home Richardson has struggled with left-handers so Brad Miller, Dustin Ackley, Kyle Seager, Endy Chavez, Raul Ibanez, Justin Smoak and Michael Saunders are worth a look. RG Stack Rating 5

• Away Mark Trumbo and Josh Hamilton have both been hot for LAA. Trumbo is 10-36 with 3 HRs versus Hernandez. Trout is 15-34 versus Hernandez as well (if he plays). RG Stack Rating 2

• Home Ricky Nolasco is the slight favorite today, He ha not been impressive since joining LAD and faces a tough opponent in a BOS team that has recorded the second highest runs on the year. The most telling stat is that he has topped over 100 pitches thrown only once since joining the Dodgers. BOS is batting .264 on the road, .284 versus right-handers, and .301 over the last 7 days. • Away John Lackey numbers take a big dip on the road but I think he gets some help today from this park. What I like about him the most is that he is a reverse split pitcher holding left-handers to a .232 BAA, which should help him against LAD best hitters. LAD is batting .262 at home, .272 versus right-handers and .258 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6

• Home Carl Crawford is 21-45 with 2 HRs versus Lackey. Adrian Gonzalez and Andre Either ‘s numbers are positive as well. Juan Uribe and Hanley Ramirez have been productive for LAD. RG Stack Rating 3

• Away BOS owns a .287 BAA versus Nolasco. They have been hot as well. I like the left-handed bats but consider everyone worth a look today. RG Stack Rating 6

• Home This is the question of the night on a multiple pitcher site, is Edinson Volquez worse than the CHC offense? Volquez has been a gas can but CHC has been equally bad at scoring runs. Both will offer value for those willing to take a risk. Vegas has him listed as the slight favorite. CHC is batting .231 on the road, .243 versus right-handers, and .237 over the last 7 days. • Away After that promising July, Edwin Jackson has reverted back to his old ways in August with a 6.75 ERA. Something about him tells me he is worth a look in a GPP tonight in this pitcher’s park but that play is only for the really brave. He has been horrible all year except for brief glimpses. SDG is batting .241 at home, .243 versu right-handers, and .274 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4

• Home SDG pummelled him the last time they saw him. After that outing everyone has positive BvPs. Will Venable has been hot with 23.25 fp over the last 7 days. RG Stack Rating 6

• Away This is one of those Blue Moon days that you can use a CHC stack. Vegas has more faith in Volquez but CHC has a .308 BAA against him. Starlin Castro ‘s 4-15 with 1 HR is the most notable. Donnie Murphy has been super hot with 34.75 fp. Junior Lake and Nate Schierholtz have been hot as well. RG Stack Rating 6

• Home We were wrong about Matt Cain yesterday. Here is why you should believe us about Madison Bumgarner today. Bumgarner has been great at home with a 2.40 ERA and .192 BAA. Plus, he is holding left-handed batters to a .161 BAA on the year. He has a 2.13 ERA since the All-Star Break. He is a much safer play than Cain with the same upside. PIT is batting .241 on the road, .260 versus left-handers, and .248 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9

• Away Charlie Morton has turned into a nice little play now that his Ks have increased. He gave up 4 runs the last time he saw SFO and that was at home. I cannot see him pitching better than Bumgarner today on the road. SFO is batting .255 at home, .262 versus right-handers, and .255 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6

• Home Morton s allowing left-handers a .333 BAA so Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, Gregor Blanco, and Roger Kieschnick are worth a look. Hunter Pence and Pablo Sandoval have been hot for SFO. RG Stack Rating 4
