Pitchers
- Home Jerome Williams is a 1.69 pitcher on the year. Can you believe that? He is still just a spot starter who will not get you many Ks so he is unplayable in daily fantasy. Avoid
- Away Jason Hammel is the underdog in this matchup which surprises me because he is 4-1 on the season with a decent .3.79 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. He has run into the most of his trouble at home and gets the start in a slightly pitcher friendly park. The BvP favors him as well. In Play
Batters
- Home Howie Kendrick has the best BvPs vs. Hammel. Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo and Albert Pujols have been hot and are all batting much better at home than on the road. Trumbo is batting .305 vs right-handed pitching with 5 HR.
- Away Nate McLouth and Manny Machado have been hot and catch a lackluster pitcher, Nick Markakis is 4-6 vs. Williams. Adam Jones is batting .378 vs. right handed pitching.

- Favored COL -107
Pitchers
- Home Jhoulys Chacin has been fantastic in and out of COL. His 0.89 WHIP is even more impressive considering that fact. He does not get enough Ks to out way the risk, though. I know he has been producing but there are better/safer plays to be had. Avoid
- Away Alex Cobb has pitched well to start the season but his fly ball rate tell me that he is in for trouble today in COL. COL is a great home team batting .297 at home, .289 in day games, .286 vs. right-handers, and .304 over the last 7 days with 9 HRs. Cobb does not get enough Ks to warrant the risk today. Avoid
Batters
- Home I have seen COL bat around on elite pitchers in COL so everyone is in play no matter who they face. Carlos Gonzales has been hot producing 30 fp over the last 7 days and draws the splits in his favor.
- Away Kelley Johnson has been hot and is 5-14 with 2 HRs vs. Chacin. Matt Joyce has 3 HRs over the last week and draws a right-hander.

Pitchers
- Home Philip Humber cannot putch any worse than Lucas Harrell did yesterday but with a 7.58 ERA on the season he can come close. Avoid
- Away Justin Verlander is an autoplay today. Overlay is your only concern. Target
Batters
- Home Gentleman start your DET stacks. However, encore performances rarely happen but still they should score at least 5 runs today.
- Away If you are playing the fade then can you please accept me in an H2H? I need some dead money.

Pitchers
- Home When I was 23, I bartended at this club with a guy that was a complete and total waste of space. He showed up to work drunk every day, did not do all that good of a job even when he was sober, and at one point even lit the bar on fire in a dispute with a customer with a bottle of Bacardi 151. He never got fired, which made me think that no matter what I did I had job security because no one could be worse than that! Edinson Volquez is that guy for me in the MLB. He has been so bad for years and yet is always in someone’s rotation. Avoid
- Away Ian Kennedy is giving up nearly 2 fly ball outs for every 1 ground ball out on the year, No wonder he has run into problems so far. He takes the hill in a pitcher’s park against a poor hitting team. SDP is batting .260 at home, .213 in day games, .250 vs. right-handers, and .269 over the last 7 days with 10 HRs. Kennedey has held SDP to a .236 BAA and will most likely get the win unless the fantasy God’s hate you. Target
Batters
- Home Yonder Alonso gains the splits in his favor today, he has been hot producing 24.5 fp, and he is 6-12 vs. Kennedy with 1 HR. Chase Headley has also been hot and is 6-20 vs. him with 1 HR.
- Away Paul Gomdshmidt is a hot play versus left-handers but he is batting .325 vs. right-handers on the year also. It is time that we start thinking of this guy as an elite player. Cliff pennington has been ARI has been ARI hottest players with 19.75 fp over the last week and is cheap. Miguel Montero versus any right-handed pitcher is a solid play and this is a bad right-hander.

- Favored SFO -135
Pitchers
- Home Matt Cain has been a far cry from what he was a year ago. We are at the point in the season where we stop looking at what players did a year ago and start focusing on what they are doing now. Matt Cain has been bad. His K/9 has been solid and he gets the call as the favorite in this one but I do not trust him. In Play
- Away Hyun-Jin Ryu looks like the real deal. His K/9 ratio is among the best in the MLB for starters. He is the underdog in this matchup but in my eyes, he is the favorite because of his upside and his price. SFO is batting .280 at home, .248 in day games, .240 versus left-handers, and ,265 over the last 7 days with 10 HRs. They got to Ryu in his first start batting .375 against him in that game. In Play
Batters
- Home Buster Posey has killed left-handed pitching in the past and he is batting .360 vs. it this year. He is the hottest Giant producing 28.5 fp. Pablo Sandoval also gains the splits in his favor and has 25.75 fp over the week. Hunter Pence went 2-3 vs. Ryu the last time he faced this team.
- Away Adrian Gonzalez is a sick 20-63 with 4 HRs vs. Cain. Andre Either ‘s numbers are good also if he starts. The way Cain has been playing, everyone is in play. Carl Crawford has been hot and draws a righty.
