Pitchers
- Home Scott Feldman ‘s 12 Ks last game came out of nowhere so do not expect him to recreate that again today, He has been good on the year but is far to risky to take today against a TEX team batting .279 at home, .262 vs right-handers, and .285 over the last 7 days.
- Away Nick Tepesch has open the season off well and draws an enticing matchup versus a CHC team. Tepesch K totals are a little low and the Cubs have been hitting the ball better lately. CHC is batting .271 at home, .238 vs right-handers and .263 over the last 7 days.
Batters
- Home Alfonso Soriano is hot producing 27.5 fp over the last week. Anthony Rizzo continues his run also producing 24.5 fp and gains the splits in his favor today.
- Away Mitch Moreland has been hot producing 22.25 fp over the last week. He is batting .291 versus right-handed pitcher. Lance Berkman has a .306 batting average versus right-handers. Adrian Beltre has been on a tear producing 25 fp over the last week. Ian Kinsler is swinging a hot stick also producing 23 fp.

Pitchers
- Home Chris Capuano has not bee overly impressive coming out of the bullpen. He will get the start today and the OU is very low. He was a 3.12 pitcher at home a year ago and his career K/9 is 7.35 so he is a gamble that could pay off if he is cheap enough. ARI is batting .243 on the road, .219 vs. Left-handers, and .242 over the last 7 days. ARI has .310 BAA vs. Capuano with 7 HRs in 87 AB. He might not make it 5 IP so I would avoid him but in a GPP format I think he is in play if you like to gamble. In Play
- Away Trevor Cahill has pitched well on the year. The OU is this game is very low and he is the slight favorite. His ERA, WHIP, K/9, and BAA have all been stellar and he faces a pitcher who started the year as a reliever. LAD is batting .243 at home, .232 vs. right-handers, and .275 over the last 7 days. LAD has a .291 BAA vs. Cahill. In Play
Batters
- Home Adrian Gonzalez is 5-12 with 1 HR versus Cahill. He might not play tonight which could be difficult because of the late start time. Late scratches do happen in baseball so be mindful of that. Carl Crawford, A.J. Ellis and Nick Punto have positive BvP totals. Carl Crawford is batting .297 versus right-handed pitching.
- Away Paul Goldschmidt hits left-handers very well. He hits this left-hander really well. He is 9-12 with 2 HR vs. Capuano. Cody Ross is also 3-7 vs. him and Miguel Montero is 4-11 with 3 HRs. Didi Gregorius has a .375 batting average versus left-handers on the year.

Las Vegas
- OU 7
- Favored SDG -180
Pitchers
- Home Andrew Cashner takes the mound as the huge favorite today and if he get you 5 IP then he should be in line for the win. He gets enough Ks to consider but you always have to worry about how deep into the game a reliever will go when they make a spot start. MIA is batting .242 on the road, .231 vs. right-handers and .250 over the last 7 days. In Play
- Away Wade LeBlanc has been a better pitcher in his two starts on the road with an ERA of 4.00. That fact plus the low OU make him look somewhat enticing in this pitcher’s friendly park. However, opponents are batting .336 vs. him on the year and we all know MIA has struggled to win games. SDG is batting .256 at home, .241 vs. left-handers, and .257 over the last 7 days. Avoid
Batters
- Home Kyle Blanks has a .444 average versus left-handed pitching. Yonder Alonso has been hot producing 24.5 fp over the last week. He is batting .296 versus left-handers on the year. Chase Headley and Jedd Gyorko have also produced well over the last week. LeBlanc is struggling so that puts everyone into play.
- Away Marcell Ozuna should be on everyone’s radar by now. He has produced 25 fp over the last 7 days and has .471 batting average versus right-handers. Justin Ruggiano is hot producing 34.25 fp. Greg Dobbs 1 AB versus Cashner was for a HR. The OU is low but there could be a lot of value to be had with the Marlins today.

Las Vegas
- OU 6
- Favored SFO -140
Pitchers
- Home Madison Bumgarner has been SFO best pitcher to start the year. The low OU and the vote of confidence by Vegas is enough for me. All of his stats are impressive. Opponents are batting just .181 vs. him on the season. PHI is batting .224 on the road, .207 vs. left-handers, and .182 over the last 7 days. Target
- Away Cliff Lee has run into some trouble recently in the ER department. His 1.15 WHIP is way better than average so some of that is bad luck and should level out. He will get you Ks and IPs so his ceiling is high and could be a nice against the grain pick today in a game with a very low OU. SFO is batting .280 at home, .246 vs. left-handers, .272 over the last 7 days. Lee has held SFO to a .239 BAA. In Play
Batters
- Home Hunter Pence is 3-8 vs. Lee with an HR. Buster Posey is batting .370 versus left-handers on the year and has been hot producing 23.75 FP. Pablo Sandoval has a .303 average versus left-handers and has produced 22.5 fp over the last week.
- Away The BvP data is low but Rollins and Mayberry ‘s numbers are encouraging if you are playing the fade. Rollins is batting .310 versus left-handed pitching on the year.
