• Home The good news is that Jose Fernandez is finally getting the love he deserves. The bad news is his salary has moved up to levels it should be so he is no longer s great value on most sites. He is the favorite today but draws a WAS team that has been hot lately. WAS is batting .215 on the road, .248 versus right-handers, and .257 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7

• Away You remember at the start of the season when you would use a player like Dan Haren against MIA no matter how bad he was pitching before that. Things have changed. Unfortunately, one of them is not that Dan Haren is pitching any better. His ERA still sits at a massive 6.00 on the year and MIA is swingin the bat much better since gaining Morrison and Stanton into their LU. MIA is batting .234 at home, .235 versus right-handers, and .215 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3

• Home Giancario Stanton is hot for MIA. Logan Morrison is batting .355 versus right-handed pitching. Placido Polanco is 9-25 versus Haren if you are looking for a real cheap off. RG Stack Rating 5

• Home BOS got to A.J. Griffin the last time they saw him but that was in Fenway where they are a much better team. Griffin’s number do not vary much on the road or at home. This matchup versus BOS is intriguing because BOS is the league’s number 1 ranked offense but they are also 3rd in the league in Ks so the upside is there if you are willing to gamble on the second year pitcher at home. BOS is batting .265 on the road, .289 versus right-handers and .280 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6

• Away Jon Lester ‘s numbers should benefit from this park and his horrilble road ERA of 5.73 might move into the playable range. After a great start, Lester has come apart in June and July and seems a little too risky to play today versus the league’s 8th highest scoring offense. OAK is batting .239 at home, .243 versus left-handers, and .211 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4

• Home Josh Donaldson, Nate Freiman, and Jed Lowrie all bat well versus left-handers. The team has been cold but they should score some runs versus Lester. RG Stack Rating 3

His home ERA is slightly worse than his road ERA this year but his K/9 totals are much better at home than they are on the road. He draws a LAA team that has hit him well in the past. • Away In two starts in July, Jered Weaver has looked like his old self again. He has a 2.20 ERA in Safeco Field over the last 3 years and draws a SEA team that has been better lately but scores few runs and Ks at a high rate. • Home Vegas has much more faith in Edinson Volquez than I do. He ha decent enough K/9 but his 5.33 ERA and 1.61 WHIP are absolutely horrible. Left-handed batters are batting .311 versus him on the season so keep that in mind when you are building your rosters. SFO is batting .258 on the road, .263 versus right-handers, and .271 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4

• Away What would we write about Tim Lincecum this year if he had not one 2 Cy Young Awards in the past? Honestly, I think our take on him would be much less harsh than it is now. He takes the hill today as the dog but he brings with him GPP winning upside for a fraction of the price. He is getting Ks and SFO is allowing him to throw pitches. Of course, the reduced price brings with it a high amount of risk. SDG is batting .237 at home, .242 versus left-handers and .233 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6

• Home Chase Headley, Alex Amarista, and Carlos Quentin have all been producing for SDG. Guzman, Quentin and Headley have positive BvPs versus Lincecum. RG Stack Rating 5

• Home Randall Delgado seems to be a decent choice in a multiple pitcher format versus this injured team. He has been fantastic on the year and should coast to the win in front of this great home team. MIL is batting .248 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .248 over the last 7 days. • Away Kyle Lohse has been better on the road than he has been at home this year. He is having a wonderful season. He is still the player he always was. • Home Pual Goldschmidt is super hot again with 35 fp over the last 7 days. Aaron hill is hot as well. Will Nieves, Pual Goldschmidt, Chavez, DiDi Gregorius and Parra are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. ARI as a team has a .330 BAA versus Lohse so everyone has BvPs that are playable.
