Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in large-field tournaments?
stevietpfl: Yordan Alvarez

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field tournaments. On DraftKings, Chris Sale is the clear-cut top pitching option for me. I do think we have a handful of other options for tournaments. I don’t want much outside of Sale in that ATL/NYM game on DraftKings. Besides Sale, I like Joe Ryan, Cam Schlittler, Joey Cantillo, and Hayden Wesneski. I’m going to be overweight on the Red Sox, but I don’t want to sleep on the A’s on the other side of that game. I think it has the potential to be the highest-scoring game on the slate. I also like the Twins, Guardians, and Astros. I’ll be underweight on the Dodgers and Cubs.
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. To differentiate, I am going to play Joe Ryan over Chris Sale and Cam Schlittler. And at SP2, I am leaning toward Hayden Wesneski. My favorite two offenses are the Twins and Red Sox, who both have tremendous matchups and a plethora of cheap value.
TJ Zwarych: I will be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments. I’ll keep a tight pitching pool focused on Joe Ryan and Cam Schlittler while using players like Joey Cantillo and even a little Brady Singer to save salary. There are so many great offenses, so I’ll spread out and get pieces of as many as I can, with Boston and Houston being my top choices.
