MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, September 18
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
SquirrelPatrol: Matt Olson
boggslite: Matt Olson
TheLuuch: Shohei Ohtani
Alex Sonty: Marcell Ozuna
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
SquirrelPatrol: It’s a big slate, and I’ll spread out my exposure at both hitting and pitching accordingly. I’ll eat some chalk with the Braves in a very good spot in Cincinnati, but I’ll look to pair them with stacks projecting for lower ownership, like the Rangers and Twins (who are also in good spots). At pitcher, Dean Kramer is priced too low on DraftKings; I won’t avoid him, but I’ll aim to pair him with expensive stacks who are projecting for low ownership.
boggslite: Despite having 12 games on tonight’s slate, there isn’t much that stands out on either side. This will likely lead to me having a narrow pitching pool centering around Sonny Gray at the top, Dean Kremer at the bottom, and mixing in some options in the middle depending on salary needs. On offense, I like the Braves (getting a huge park bump in Cincinnati), the Orioles (facing a rookie with sketchy control), and the Cardinals (as a cheap stack facing a weak righty).

TheLuuch: With a large slate and spread out pOWN%, I plan on keeping my stack pool tight and making sure I have enough variations of them (including the bottom of the order). We don’t see many 12-game slates anymore, and there’s a high chance that the bottoms of very good stacks go way under-owned.
Alex Sonty: Avoiding the Tarik Skubal price tag and the chalky Dodgers in a pitchers park should make me different enough to do whatever I want elsewhere. That should be the easy part. Building Braves stacks without the chalky Sonny Gray will be the challenge, but I will not be combining those plays. I’ll be attacking with the Braves in my Nestor Cortes lineups and probably using Yankees full stacks in my Gray lineups.
