What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: This is more of an MME slate for me. What I see is that the salaries are right in line with my rankings, which means there is no one clear best way to build. I can make lineups with double spend-ups at pitcher, value pitchers, or anywhere in between. I see high-end stacks as well as value stacks, and individual bats in all ranges as well. In these instances, where there is not a clear best way to build, I prefer to have several different varieties of lineups. My first few lineups are going to skip the most expensive pitchers. While I certainly like Hunter Brown and Carlos Rodon, I prefer to have a little more salary for bats, leading me to more mid-tier pitchers in good matchups, like Tylor Megill and Cade Horton.

headChopper: I’m playing 1 lineup on each site. It’ll primarily be in small-field, limited-entry tournaments, but I’ll also sprinkle it into a few large-field tournaments. I think my biggest lineup differentiator might be the lack of stacking—I may cap it at 2-player hitter stacks and look to pull pieces from several different teams.

stevietpfl: I prefer smaller-field contests tonight. We have 6-8 strong pitching options, which helps me focus more on narrowing down my hitting pool. Outside of Hunter Brown and Joe Ryan, I think Carlos Rodon, Tylor Megill, Corbin Burnes, Nathan Eovaldi, Stephen Kolek, and Cade Horton are all pretty close. I’ll play Ryan when I can, but I will have exposure to all of these pitchers. Arizona is my clear-cut top offense. I also like the Yankees, Red Sox, and Astros. As much as I like the matchup for the Mets, I don’t love the ballpark, and I think the other teams have a little more upside.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. This is an odd slate where there are plenty of things I like, but nothing I really love or MUST have. At SP, I expect to be over the field on Hunter Brown and Cade Horton and under the field on Tylor Megill. Some of my favorite stacks are Arizona, Houston, the Rangers, and the Mets. The Cubs are the team I really want to get to, but I’m likely to fade them as I just don’t see Chicago hitting enough HRs with the wind blowing in.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
