MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, September 16
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
STLCardinals84: I am going to narrow down my choices for bats quite a bit. The Twins are my favorite overall offense, and I will eat some chalk with a few stacks of them. However, I really plan to be overweight on both the Cubs and Diamondbacks with their power bats and low-strikeout pitchers (Zach Davies & Kyle Hendricks) facing off against each other. On DK, I will also be underweight on the Coors Field game with it being Game 2 of a doubleheader. I don’t love the way the Giants match up against Kyle Freeland, and the Rockies will be facing a mix-and-match bullpen game that makes it hard to prioritize their bats.
Krayton: For pitching, Corbin Burnes, Pablo Lopez, and Grayson Rodriguez are guys I will be focusing on while utilizing Tyler Anderson as a cheap SP2. I really like the matchup for the Twins, so they will be a stack I am overweight on. As far as other stacks go, I like getting to the Dodgers, the Cubs / Diamondbacks game stack, and the Phillies going up against Miles Mikolas.
TJ Zwarych: Corbin Burnes, Pablo Lopez, Grayson Rodriguez, and Tyler Anderson will be the entirety of my pitching pool. I plan on spreading out my bats a decent amount while only playing those four pitchers in MME. Lopez and Burnes have unmatched upside with great matchups, while Rodriguez and Anderson are too cheap and in great spots as well.
tcsmith031: With none of the expensive aces in great strikeout spots, I plan on taking the plunge for cheaper pitching. Grayson Rodriguez is particularly affordable on DK ($7,800), while I’ll be holding my breath with Tyler Anderson at home against the Tigers on all sites. If everyone’s going to be stacking the Twins, I’ll take my chances paying up for the likes of the Dodgers, Astros, Cubs, and Phillies instead. The Coors game could also come in a bit under-owned on DK.
