Sports Info Solutions: MLB DFS Advice for Wednesday, September 25th

America’s pastime and daily fantasy sports are a perfect fit with an overload of data and statistics to analyze before making your lineup selections.
Because of the amount of information available to the DFS player, it can be a bit overwhelming, so I’ve tried to help you out by recommending a number of well-priced options by using Sports Info Solutions’ “SIS Model 3”.
SIS Model 3 gives DFS players an edge when setting their lineups as it uses the most expansive and accurate wealth of baseball data to create a tested DFS algorithm. You can learn more about the development of the algorithm in the RotoGrinders Marketplace.
Pitching Option
Masahiro Tanaka, New York Yankees (FD Price $10,700) – He’s been a filthy pitcher on the road this season going 7-0, while allowing a .204 BA, .278 wOBA, 0.943 WHIP. Add in a 9.6 K/9 rate and he’s the guy for today.

Hitting Options
C/1B) Omar Narvaez, Chicago White Sox (FD Price $2,200)
He owns a .375 wOBA at home against RHP and has a great matchup against RHP Shane Bieber, who can’t get out LHB (.391 wOBA allowed).
2B) Daniel Murphy, Chicago Cubs (FD Price $3,300)
Murphy has been much better in the second half to raise his production to .361 wOBA against RHP and faces Ivan Nova who allows a .393 wOBA on the road to LHB.
3B) Yolmer Sanchez, Chicago White Sox (FD Price $2,500)
The switch-hitting Sanchez is respectable as a LHB (.335 wOBA at home against RHP) so let’s use him to take advantage of Bieber’s weakness against lefties.
SS) Xander Bogaerts, Boston (FD Price $4,100)
Bogaerts has been at his best in Fenway Park against RHP (.405 wOBA).
OF) Nick Martini, Oakland (FD Price $2,700)
Martini is a useful option against RHP (.311 BA, .365 wOBA) and will face righty Felix Hernandez, who has struggled with a .383 wOBA in September and allows a .359 wOBA to LHB this season.
OF) Ben Zobrist, Chicago Cubs (FD Price $3,000)
The switch-hitting Zobrist owns a .372 wOBA since the All-Star break and a .360 wOBA against RHP.
OF) Daniel Palka, Chicago White Sox (FD Price $,2800)
The lefty is a viable option against RHP (.347 wOBA) and adds to our left-handed assault against Bieber (.372 wOBA against LHP on the road).
UTIL) Jed Lowrie, Oakland (FD Price $3,600)
It’s a great price for Lowrie, who loves to face RHP on the road (.427 wOBA) and matches up against a vulnerable Hernandez in Seattle.
Stacking Option
When it comes time to draft a fantasy baseball team in DFS, stacking is a widely accepted strategy. There’s a reason: it works. If you want to win big, you will need a gigantic score, and stacking makes it easier to rack up the points because the scoring of batters in a given lineup is interrelated. Batters reaching base allows the hitters down the line to drive them in, creating something of a snowball effect.
Chicago Cubs
Although we installed three White Sox batters in our lineup, there isn’t a fourth worth adding, so we head north for Murphy, Zobrist, Anthony Rizzo and Kyle Schwarber for the top stack.
