SuperDraft NFL DFS Multiplier Plays - Week 5

SuperDraft

If you haven’t already heard, SuperDraft is back with its $125,000 Red Zone GPP for the fifth week in a row! The contest has been one of the best values in the DFS industry through the first month s of the NFL season. It looks to stay that way for the third week in a row — as of Friday afternoon only 754 out of 7350 entries are filled. If you don’t have a SuperDraft account already, then you’ll want to sign up! using the promo code GRINDERS to get a $10 bonus on deposits of $10 or more.

If you aren’t familiar with SuperDraft’s unique Multiplier format and scoring, catch up here.

Every week we review one of the top lineups in SuperDraft’s biggest GPP and then we break down a few of our favorite plays.

Here are the Multiplier plays I’m looking at for SuperDraft’s Week 5 contests:

QB – SuperDraft changed up their multiplier pricing for the QB position last week and it looks like they’ll be sticking with it going forward. Before last week, we found starters like Matt Stafford (Wk 1), Kyle Allen (Wk 2), and Daniel Jones (Wk 2) with the 2x multiplier. Those are the days no more. In fact, Jared Goff made the winning lineup with a 1.2x multiplier. This week you can find a starting QB with a 2x multiplier. Colt McCoy was named the starter Friday after sitting out the first four weeks of the season due to an injury. Unfortunately, his first game back is against arguably the best defense in the league. The Patriots dominant so far this season and I expect them to continue their ways against McCoy. I might have McCoy in a small percentage of my lineups but he’s definitely not a lock. It’ll be interesting to see if ownership shifts to guys like Watson and Jackson this week now that people see you can win with a low multiplier at QB. If you think ownership will continue to be on the higher multipliers than Deshaun Watson (1.1x) is definitely in play against the Falcons.

RB – Christian McCaffrey volume has made him a staple in winning lineups despite his 1x multiplier. I can’t argue with playing him against the Jaguars. It might not be a 2x multiplier but you’re essentially getting a running back and wide receiver in one spot. The Washington Redskins will be playing from behind which puts Chris Thompson (1.6x) in play. He’s been getting at least 5 targets a game. Another intriguing high multiplier play is Jaylen Samuels (1.75), who worked his way into the Steelers game plan on Monday Night Football. The Steelers will continue to be creative with Samuels versatility as they try to work their way back into the playoff picture with Mason Rudolph behind center.

WR – Will Fuller (1.65x) is due to go off. Fuller, who is getting a ton of air yards, wouldn’t have this high of a multiplier if it weren’t so missed deep passes from Deshaun Watson. I expect Fuller to be chalk but he’s still tough to pass up give his multiplier. If you do want to fade then why not go with Deandre Hopkins (1x) instead? Hopkins will be highly owned at other sites but he won’t be as popular on SuperDraft.

TE – Jimmy Graham (1.25x) dropped two big passes against the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday. He’ll have an opportunity to redeem himself now that Davante Adams is ruled out due to turf toe. Rodgers isn’t comfortable with his young receivers so I expect throws to Graham early and often. This is my favorite tight end play of the week.
